City of Rocks

For Christmas last year, Brad decided to get the boys climbing harnesses and ropes. He had put this off for some time thinking it was too dangerous. Our Bishop is a long time climber and has taken the boys various different places. Brad finally started to read and learn and gave in and is now having lots of fun on various trips. We even have shoes and helmets and gear that fits the whole family including Christopher, Heidi and I. Here are some shots of various climbs this year.

ImageThis is a cool rock real close to downtown Boise. It's right on the river and a good climb.
ImageHere's Christopher, they have to help him start out and can pull him as needed.

ImageThe boys took a trip out to the City of Rocks past Burley and had a great time. They really want to go back and spend some more time there.
