Winter

Tubing at soldier hallow with the family!!! All 7 of us would link together and go down the hill!! Our goal was to run into the fence at the end of the tubing run.... which we did about 5 times and we got in trouble but we didn't care!!

BATTLE WOUNDS:
i have to tell the story behind this because its soo funny!! So Blake and i are dead asleep in bed one night and all of a sudden he jumps out of bed,  hits his upper thigh on the corner of our desk, falls to the ground and twists his ankle. Of course i'm like half asleep thinking what is going on!! He's laying on the floor saying "oww" over and over... so i ask him what he is doing!! He told me he had a dream there was a snake in our bed and he was jumping out to grab something he could kill it with. This pic is of his thigh!! the bruise didn't go away for weeks!!

OUR LAST SURGERY!!! Blake had his final surgery on January 22nd. Our favorite Nurse Tootie let me go into the room and watch while they were getting everything set up. After surgery the 1st thing he wanted to do was... eat at Tucanos! it's a brazillian all you can eat MEAT BUFFET! He was feelin good after all the Medication!!

Valentines Day!!!  My Husband is seriously the best!! It was so nice to spend the day with him!! I could hang out with him 24/7 and never get bored!! He took me to Happy Sumo to eat sushi for lunch and took me to see the movie confessions of a shopaholic. Later that night he had a whole romantic candle lit dinner and dessert set up on a blanket by our fire place. (he is good isn't he)Sunday morning he told me he wanted to go for a drive up the canyon and surprised me again!!! We pulled into the Sundance Resort and he took me to BRUNCH which was AMAZING!!! They had everything you could possibly imagine to eat. I have never been so full in my life!!! It was a Valentines weekend!! How did i get so lucky to have him??

Our 1st Christmas

Image
This Christmas was a little crazy with Blakes finals, my work being sooo busy
for the holidays and also one other surprise!! Blake and I had planned on going to Cali with his family for Christmas but a few days before we were suppose to leave we found out that Blake had to have surgery on the 23rd. So our plans changed and we spent Christmas in St. George with my family. We spent the day after Christmas in Vegas Shopping!! My FAVORITE!! It was nice to get away from Provo and spend time together!

ImageThis is Blakes Trachea.....
The pictures on the left are from his scope. The bottom left picture is how his airway starts out (looking normal) the picture on the top middle
is what it looked like before surgery. As you can see his airway is 90% closed.
We were told he had some mass in his airway that they didn't exactly know what it was. The doctor who did his CT scan told us he thought it was a form of cyoplasm and a small percentage of them are cancerous. We had to wait a week to find out exactly what it was thankfully it was only scar tissue. But i think that was the longest week of our lives!!

This is Blake after surgery! Our doctor went in and was only able to laser out half of the scar tissue. He said when he got in there it was so thick that for healing reasons it's better to do it in smaller sections. We will be going back in January to have it done one more time to hopefully get the rest!

One more thing....I just have to say how thankful and proud i am of Blake. He pulled a 4.0 this semester with 21 credits, kept me going through all the stress of waiting to hear back from doctors and hoping and praying for good news, he makes me laugh everyday and can always put a smile on my face. I am so thankful for a hardworking husband who sets goals and accomplishes them. I'm so glad i get to spend forever with him! I love him sooo much!!

finally the update

Image
Blake and I were married on August 1st 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was definitely the best day of our lives. We spent our honeymoon in Cancun for one week and then had to come back to real life. Blake is so busy with school, he is in his last year and taking an insane amount of credits to get done! I am working doing hair in Orem at Suggestions Salon. We are loving every second we get to spend together. I never knew that married life was so much fun!!!
