Moving On

Well hello friends and family who still bother to read this hardly ever updated blog. Ever since we got back from Australia I haven't been feeling motivated to update. I think it might be because I think of it as our Australian blog. So I think it is time for a change. I still love the idea of blogging and hopefully one day turning them into books so I have started another one that will be all about our Kentucky adventure. I have quite a bit of catching up to do on this blog so I will keep posting here until I do catch up but all of the recent stuff will be posted on

Mommy's Little "Helper"

I am in the middle of packing all of our stuff for the big move in 5 DAYS!! This little chickie has been such a big help. :)

Moving...again!

We are very excited to announce that Nate has accepted a teaching position in KENTUCKY!! We will be living in the middle of nowhere but it looks like it will be very green and pretty. We have been working hard to find a place to live (done!) and to figure out how to get all of our stuff there (done!). We decided on this 5 x 8 moving trailer shown above. Does it shock you that everything we own will fit into a 5 x 8 trailer? Don't worry, we are taking a 4 x 8 trailer as well! :) Now we get to pack and plan for our looong drive there! The big moving day is July 18th.

Wow! Has it really been MONTHS since I've updated this thing?! We are still around, just busy, busy, busy! Hopefully life will slow down enough for me to do a real update soon.

Jump House

We got to spend a lot of time with both of our families just after we got back from Australia. My brother took us to this jump house/park in Vacaville one day. It was a blast! For a while we were the only ones in the place so we pretty much went down this slide over and over and over.

Since the whole Blank family was going to be together for 2 days Nate's parents had someone take our pictures. These are the ones of just our little family because I'm not sure if everyone else would want their pictures posted on our blog.
