Springtime Love

 Jason and I have been playing a lot of tennis this spring and we always take Elin along, who plays with an extra racket and ball in the court.

 At the end, we let her hit a few balls.

 And she gets to ride her wiggle car around.  Now when we drive by any tennis court, Elin points it out and says, "Play tennis?"  That's my girl!



Elin will sometimes put on this pink hat and say, "Go to beach?"  She'll get her sand bucket and head outside. :)

Happenings from the Dahls this spring

Family Vacation to San Diego

In February, Jason, Elin and I went to San Diego with my family to see my sister, Holly.  We had such a good time with my family and felt so rejuvinated being near the ocean.

Elins first time at the beach.  La Jolla.  She loved playing in the sand.

 Jason and I tried to get her to touch the water with her feet, but she wouldn't do it until she saw some seagulls walking in the water.  Then she was chasing them all over and loved the "bubbles" the ocean made.

 We visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier while we were there.

                                                  Easter 2012

 Elin's egg hunt.  Elin loved it so much we still hide eggs for her to find once or twice a week (without the candy, of course).

Elin got a watercolor set for Easter and loves to paint now.

Potty Training.   I've been potty training Elin and it is going pretty well.  I'm highly motivated to get this done before kid # 2 comes!

                         Happy 2nd Birthday, Elin!

Mom made Elin an Elmo cake, which she still talks about and how she got to blow out the candles. She also got a Wiggle Car from Mom and Dad.  She has fun chasing the other kids in our neighborhood around on her car and going fast!

There is a train kids can ride at South Towne Mall that Elin has been dying to ride.  She finally got to ride it for her birthday.  She had a blast!

                                      St. George
Our little family took a trip to St. George over Jason's birthday.  Jason and I love St. George.  I went to college at Dixie State and we spent much of our dating time in St. George.

We stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Payne in their lovely home.  While on our vacation, we played tennis and went swimming twice a day, nearly every day.  Elin absolutely loved swimming!  She had a grin on her face the whole time and loved spending time with her daddy.

Elin's First Hair cut

Elin got her first hair cut Monday night from our friend, Nichole. I held Elin while she was watching Elmo on our Ipad (love that thing) and Nichole cut her hair.
We cut over three inches of mullet!

Elin played with her favorite friend, Emmy this week. They played dress-ups which was Elin's first time and she thought it was cool.
