Location

Boardmasters festival spans across two locations in Newquay, Cornwall.

Watergate Bay
Home to our main arena and campsites – plus a breathtaking festival view! Admission to the festival at Watergate Bay requires a ticket.
Location: Trebelsue Farm, Watergate Bay, TR8 4AN

Fistral Beach
Playing host to the Boardmasters Open, skate competitions, the Boardmasters Beach Bar, shopping village and more. No ticket is required for Fistral Beach.
Location: Fistral Beach, Headland Rd, Newquay, Cornwall, TR7 1HY

Ticket FAQ's

Age restrictions & I.D.

All ages are welcome at Boardmasters. Find more information about what tickets you’ll need below.

0 – 5 years
No ticket required.

6 – 12 years
Child ticket required, must be accompanied by an adult over 21+. Each adult can accompany a maximum of two under 16s.

13 – 15 years
Teen ticket required, must be accompanied by an adult over 21+. Each adult can accompany a maximum of two under 16s.

16+
Adult ticket required.

Proof of identity and age must be provided upon request at the admission gates to the festival. Names on tickets must match the details on the ID of the ticket holder entering the festival.

Challenge 25
If you appear to be under 25 years old, please bring valid ID. Remember that there is no automatic right to be served alcohol; service is at the discretion of the licensee.

Accepted ID
We accept the following forms of ID:

Passport
Driving License (including provisional license)
Proof of Age Card certified with a PASS hologram
A National Identity card issued by an EU member state

We do not accept any other forms of ID or expired ID.

Please note: photocopies or photos are not accepted.

Can I book Day Tickets?

Yes! Day tickets will be released next year when our line-up day splits are announced. Make sure you’re signed up to the newsletter and keeping an eye on our socials for all the latest news and updates.

Can I arrive after the entry date on my ticket?

With weekend tickets, you’re welcome to arrive on a later date than your ticket’s admission date.

You will not be able to enter the festival before the admission date. Make sure you arrive within our box office opening times to collect your festival wristband.

For day tickets, you are only permitted to arrive on the day listed on your ticket.

Can I resell my ticket?

Yes! We are working with Tixel as our exclusive resale partner who provide a safe and easy place for you to sell your ticket to another fan or join the waitlist to purchase a resale ticket if one becomes available.

Do not use platforms that are not officially partnered with us, such as social media listings, Twickets, TicketSwap, StubHub, Viagogo, and similar services. These outlets are not authorised by the festival, and purchases made through them cannot be guaranteed as valid or secure. They do not issue buyers a new barcode in their own name or cancel the original ticket; as a result, tickets bought this way may be invalid and could be seized or cancelled without refund or compensation.
