Yellowstone day #5 ~ Tetons and headed home

 We didn't see any moose or bears in Yellowstone, but we were headed down to the Tetons and we seen a moose and her calf, we stayed the night in Montpelier Idaho and we FINALLY saw a bear. It was running so fast up the mountain I didn't get a picture of it. 

Is is a picture of the Tetons. There were so many people everywhere!!! It was a great vacation spending time with the family, I don't know if we will ever go back to Yellowstone, the animals were very sparse and there were hoards of people EVERYWHERE!!! Bold said next year we are renting an RV and going cross country, probably headed east to St. Louis and Carthage Jail. 

Yellowstone day #4 ~ Cody Wyoming/ Buffalo Bill Museum

 Bold has wanted to go to this museum for a long time, so we decided this would be a great time to head over to Cody Wyoming and see it. There are like 4 museums in one building. It was really awesome, I would recommend everyone to visit it. 

There is a HUGE gun museum with every and any kind of gun imaginable. 

Yellowstone Day #3~ Yellowstone Park

 On day 3 we headed north through Ashton Idaho and took the scenic road into West Yellowstone, as we were driving through the mountain we pulled off to look at these waterfalls.

 We spent all of day 3 driving around Yellowstone park looking for wildlife....

 there are some elk in there somewhere....

 I love this picture of my boys looking at the buffalo.

 we managed to find some buffalo.

 we stopped to look at the the grand canyon of Yellowstone, it was pretty awesome!

Yellowstone Day #2~ Idaho Falls and Bear World

 After Lava Hot Springs we drove to Idaho Falls for the night, we stopped at the falls and got some pictures.

 In the morning after some more swimming at the hotels pool and a good nights rest we headed to Rexburg to Bear World.

 We saw this albino elk. 

 Some bears....

 and wolves......

 and the petting zoo....

 I don't think the boys were supposed to pick up the birds but oh well...

 a couple of bear cubs were playing.

and lastly the boys rode the kiddie rides.....
