I have had such a fun week, Rylee's Birthday, Going out with friends and getting totally ready for Christmas. I am done with my shopping and what 8 days to go! The only thing I haven't done is get Christmas cards ordered or sent. There is still time I know, but it might not happen this year we will see!
Also I am having a Shoe party on Wed the 19th out at my home. Open house from 6:30-8:00. They have lots of inexpensive, very cute women's and children's shoes, especially little girls. So come on out! Send me a message if you would like to come and I would love to give you directions.

So I have been such a slacker, I am sorry. I like everyone I know is crazy busy during this time of year! CHRISTMAS is my favorite! I hope you all are doing well this wonderful time of year and enjoy the CHRISTMAS Spirit!

THANKSGIVING!!

I love Thanksgiving! Not just for the food, but for the feeling that comes with it. I try to emphasize to my kids that we are so lucky to have everything we have and that we need to be thankful everyday for what we have been blessed with. I am thankful for family. My cousin Cody and his wife Erin and kids Keegan and Chloe came and stayed a couple of days before Turkey Day. We loved having them and I am thankful there kids made it out of there without losing a finger to my dog. I hope they will come back! It was fun to visit and hang out with my cousin. Erin thanks for the visits, I promise to not try to run you over next time! How embarrassing, I felt so bad!
Thanksgiving day we went over to my moms all my brothers and sisters and in-laws were there, (I think of them as Brothers and sisters too!) It was so fun to hang out. Thanks Mom for all your hard work and wonderful food! You never get enough credit for all you do, and I hope you know how truly thankful we all are for all you do!
My family made up this crazy fear factor card game and I am still dry heaving at the smell of Vinegar! I love my family and the fun stupid games we come up with !
Laren and I got up early Friday to attempt shopping, we were quite disappointed. Even if we did find anything we were not going to wait around in the crazy lines to buy it. So the only successful store was Tai-Pan for my Christmas tree ornaments. Thanks Babe for being so patient and such a great shopper!
I got my new 12 foot Christmas tree up on Saturday and fully decorated! I think it turned out pretty good! The kids came back on Sunday and we decorated our other tree and the house on Monday night for family night. That was fun. I just hope I can make my home feel as festive as my mom's . I always love being home at Christmas and hope my kids will feel the same!
Anyway sorry for the novel I will get better at weekly updates but that was a busy week! All in all I am so thankful for my health, family and all that I have been blessed with. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving also !

Lazy Days!

I finally got pictures posted, I am so excited. Hopefully my blog skills will just get better and better over time :)
I just wanted to say what a great weekend I have had, I got to go out with my girl friends on Friday night, and hung out with at my mom's and played with my sisters that came home from St. George on saturday and had a crazy day in nursery today. Anyway I am just so thankful to have the family and friends that I have. At this time of year I start to get a little sentimental about the people and things around me and how lucky I am to be so blessed with so many good things and people in my life. I hope you all have a Happy Thanks Giving!

We are the Boyce Family. Laren, MacKenzie, Colby & Rylee and our newest member Grizz! We have been a family now for two and a half years We live in Eagle Mountain Utah and have been there for two years. We love it there. We have a beautiful home, wonderful neighbors and great friends. The kids are busy with school and love there teachers. Colby is in 3rd grade this year and Rylee is in Kindergarten. They both are so smart and funny. Colby is into playing X-Box, playing with friends and Scouts! Rylee is into playing with friends, Gymnastics and playing with friends! She is the social butterfly of our home.
