Doing well!!!

Well not a whole lot has gone on since Nov. Except cute Evelyn is growing so fast and my surgery that was on Thursday. I am feeling really well, I expected to feel allot worse. So I guess I better keep my fingers crossed that it will continue. I am really thankful for my Husband who does so much for me and my beautiful 4 children. Knowing I will not be having any more kids makes me appreciate them a little more and the blessings they are...no matter how much they fight or trouble they get into. I am so blessed with so many wonderful people around me that I can call my family and friends. Thank you to ever one who has been so sweet with concerns for me and all the help that has been offered. I love you all and thank you soooooo much. You all mean soooo much to me!!!!

Who would have thought...

As I was in the shower I started pondering all that I was grateful for, which led me to think back to 10-20 years ago and the way I thought things would be. Things that I said I would or wouldn't do. It made me smile and laugh. So here is my list:

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT....
-That I would be married by 20.
-That I would have my 4th baby 5 days after my oldest turned 5.
-That I would drive a mini-van.
-That I would weigh over 120 lbs.
-That I would be one of those mothers that contribute to the screaming kids in Walmart.
-That eating out would be going through a drive through.
-That date nights would be once every 6 months.
-That my perfume would be baby puke.
-That a push-up bra would be my best friend.
-That I would go from a young women to a middle aged women so quickly.
-That you catch yourself saying things your mom said that you swore you would never say to your children.
-That not beating your children would be such a challenge at times.
-That my house would be a mess.
-That my best friends would be my family members.
-That I would yell at my children.
-That I would have twins.
-That I would have 3 1/2 year olds that are not potty trained.
-That my mind and body would go into shut down mode by 9pm.
-That naps would be a luxury.
-That I would be watching/listening to Playhouse Disney or other children's programing ALL Day!!!
-That Friends would ever come to an end.
-That I would be lucky to eat a warm meal.
-That showering everyday would take precise planning and timing.
-That pregnancy wasn't a walk in the park.
-That labor was actually more painful than you could ever imagine.
-That my body would ache at all times.
-That I would have arthritis's.
-That kids would start fighting at such a young age.
-That Santa doesn't have unlimited funds.
-That your mothers curse would come true..."I hope you have a child just like you."
-That you would wish the mothers curse upon your own children.
-That coloring on the walls is in fact a big deal.
-That when children come in the house from playing outside or being at school, you finally understand the smell that your mother complained about is a true thing.
-That leaving the door open lets in flies and lets out the paid for air.
-That a king bed is necessary.
-That the most action you get in a week, could be kissing your husband goodnight.
-And most of all and finally that money does not grow on trees.

Well I hope that this was a fun for you to read as it was for me to write. I want to challenge you to think of all the funny things that you thought how life would be or you said you would or wouldn't do.

Baby Evelyn. She is such a little stinker. She only gets up once in the night thank goodness, but will not let me put her down at all during the day. I out of all people never thought I would have a baby that you can't put down. Karma has bitten me in the butt once again.

This is Evelyns blessing day. She was Blessed on Sun. Aug. 1, 2010. And yes this is the best picture we could get of our new family.

Life is great/ Bear Lake 2010!!!

Things have been going so great for us. Brock got a month off of work for the baby, so we are finding lots of fun things to do. I have been really blessed with him being able to take that kind of time off and still get paid. Haven still has to have her cast on for 2 more weeks which is a real bummer due to us thinking it was coming off this week. But she does really well with it now and knows that there is things she just can't do, but it is still sad. We were lucky enough to take a trip to Bear Lake and the kids had a blast. We even let Haven get in the water, she has a waterproof cast, but we are suppose to limit how wet she gets it (oops).
