Hi,

I hope it's ok to post this here - please let me know if not and I'll happily remove this post.

My fiance and I have come to the sad realisation that on top of now planning for a wedding next March, we just can't afford to go transatlantic to Burning Man.

We have two second-tier tickets that I am trying to sell in order to put the money toward other things, and have had absolutely no luck so far sadly. They are will - call tickets, BUT the Burning Man guys will transfer the tickets on to the new names, and the new ticket holder will get confirmation directly from the BM folks that they have the tickets. I'd also be really happy for the money to go into escrow until this has happened.

If anyone knows anyone looking for two tickets, please can you pass this info on to them? You're welcome to pass on my details here if it's a fellow LJ-er (and they can message me here), or if not my email address is miss [dot] neophyte [at] gmail [dot] com.

Pyrotopia will occur on Friday night, October 7th and Saturday day and night, October 8th, 2011 in Braddock, PA. It will be the East Coast’s first-ever festival dedicated entirely to fire arts, presenting fire’s diversity of use by artists and celebrating humankind’s primal fascination with fire.

Pyrotopia will entertain and enchant attendees with the use of fire and related media such as electricity and light in artistic ways. Activities at Pyrotopia will include

I'm not in the ticketing queue this morning, but boy, do I feel sorry for anyone who is....

10:26am: We've temporarily frozen the queue to work on some technical issues. Hang tight, and your place in line will be saved when it starts again.

10:53am: Everybody hang tight, we're working on getting things rolling again. Stay in the queue to keep a hold of your place.

11:29am: Our ticketing vendor is still working on the problem. Please hang on, and stay in the queue. We'll restart it as soon as possible.

11:38am: We've restarted the ticketing queue. We're revving it up slowly, and it should be up to full speed shortly.

11:48am: It's OK to refresh your browser ... if you were in the queue before, you're still in the queue.

12:14pm: Sorry, folks, the numbers were artificially bumped up due to the fix. There aren't REALLY 20,000 people in front of you!

What does everyone think of this year's theme? I think it's got some awesome potential, and I'll be sorry to miss it.
