Early in our careers, we all experience moments that test our confidence and challenge our practice. We recently asked our Educator Advisory Council to reflect on lessons from their early teaching days. What they shared were thoughtful stories about growth, well-being, and redefining what “failure” really means in the classroom. For Kathryn, a lesson that once felt like a disaster ultimately became a powerful reminder: growth often comes through discomfort. Looking back, what lessons shaped you most in your early career?
