[Timezone/Availability] GMT-5 - I pretty much work 12 hour days right now, being gone from about 09:00 - 21:00 for work. However, I only work four days a week. My days off are currently Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I have zero internet access at work so my tagging periods are generally between 07:00 - 09:00a and then 21:30 - 00:00a, Wednesday - Saturday. Backtagging is forever loved but if you'd rather a thread die, don't sweat it! I won't be offended if you do.

[Hello, Vatheon. The man on screen looks like Akihiko but there is something considerably more mature about him. Maybe it's the lines by his eyes or the way he frowns a bit down at the screen - maybe his hair seems greyer than usual or maybe it's just that suit he's wearing that adds to the illusion (where did he get that suit, anyway?) but somehow, Akihiko is now almost a decade older and he's just going to be trying to wrap his head around the concept.]

So... I suppose this is one of those "curses" I keep hearing about?

[Looking at his reflection in the screen, he smooths his hair a bit and straightens his tie.]

I see that quite a few of you seem to be affected by this... [Eyeballing you, SEES Babies] But how many of you ended up like I have?

[The last thing Akihiko Sanada recalled was slamming his fists furiously into that punching bag, teeth grit in frustration as he focused his attention on that piece of equipment. Although Mitsuru had requested his appearance for the dorm's closing, Akihiko couldn't bring himself to go back.
But at some point while he was lost in those thoughts of his, somehow, he felt his world go black. Did he over-exert himself? Was he not sleeping well enough? Whatever the cause, his mind remembers sucking back a deep breath and the sensation of his ears popping as water surrounded him. Maybe it was less a memory and more his mind trying to piece things together but whatever happened, he is now laying on the ground, soaking wet with a splitting headache - and that Starfish that's somehow made its way to resting on his chest is capturing the whole thing for everyone to see.

Bringing a hand up, Akihiko rubs his eyes before groggily lifting his head. Besides being sore, wet and miserable, there's a strange almost static-like sensation that courses through him every few seconds. The communicator certainly catches it, a faint buzz echoing over the feed. With each jolt, there's a faint twitch of Akihiko's body as his muscles respond to it praise Caesar for electric resistance but its source remains unknown...

...For about three seconds.

Akihiko bolts upright, the Starfish slipping down and catching in his damp sweater vest before reaching his lap. It's probably for the best too because now the feed has a perfect view of what Akihiko just saw. In the boxer's lap, sticking out of his pants, with beady eyes it stares up at him as if to say-

"Oh. Hi."]

How the--?!

[It's hard to say what happens next but somewhere in a blur of shuffling, the feed cuts off.]
