Sleepover!

Thanks for all the nice comments on Max. He's a really active dog, but I've been working on training him. My dad says we might be able to train him to pull a sled by winter if we work really hard.

Last night I got to spend the night at Sonali's house. I brought Max so she could meet him, but he had to go home with my mom. Sonali was a little worried about such a big dog so I held on to him while she let him sniff her hand. I think they're going to be good friends!



After Max went home, Sonali and I told ghost stories. Here's a picture of me telling the one about the girl with the green ribbon around her neck:



I think even Sonali's fish got scared!

Meet Max!

I have been begging and begging my parents for a dog since my birthday, but they kept telling me no. I was super surprised to come home from day camp today to find a new friend in the house!



He's a Siberian Husky - just what I wanted! My mom said she saw him while she was out shopping and knew he was the dog for me. I named him Max and we're going to take him out for a walk as soon as I finish writing this. Isn't he cute?! I can't wait to introduce him to Sonali.

Playdate with Sonali

It's been raining here all week but today it finally turned nice again. I had Sonali come over to play with me. We really like Disney's Fairies (her favorite is Tinkerbell but mine is Rosetta) so we went out in my backyard to play.



After that, we had a picnic! Sonali's mom sent over sandwiches, cupcakes, and cookies!





I ended up in a tree again. Sonali wouldn't come up, because she's afraid of heights.



She did go exploring in the huge bushes by the fence. Daddy keeps saying he's going to cut them down but I think Sonali would be disappointed if he did.



I'm so glad Sonali is my best friend! We have the best times. I think maybe I can convince her to make us fairy costumes for Halloween. How super cool would that be?!

Fun at the Fairgrounds!

Today I got to go shopping up at the Fairgrounds! After trying several things on, I was treated to a black swirly sequined skirt (the best kind, in my opinion!), a purple tank top, a pink headband, cuff shorts, a white pageboy hat, and a Celtic princess costume! I'm pretty excited.



After all that, I got to hang out with my friends Piper and Lanie at the fairgrounds. There wasn't much to do other than run around in the grass, but I didn't mind. The weather here has been icky so it was nice to be outside on a springy day.



Eventually we found a tree and some rocks to climb. I'm not sure which one I liked more! It was a little windy and my hair kept getting in my face but it was still a super good day. :o)

Since my big person is participating in Project Doll Runway, I got a cute new outfit! I really love aqua blue (it makes my hair look super duper red!) so I begged for an outfit with that color. What do you think?
