Just spent part of the morning having people try to strangle me - we decided to do some submission training at wrestling today.

Damn, my neck hurts.

I hate users! Why do we have to make GUIs for them?! Can't they work with configuration files?!

My PC here at the office tends to overheat and go berserk. So does my boss.

He's a good person. He just has trouble dealing with imperfection. I was A LOT like that before, easily disappointed with people. I began to cure myself by beginning to tolerate my own imperfections.

We had a demo to clients on Friday afternoon. Thursday, he was still asking for features and bugfixes. He went berserk when he found on Friday morning that there were new bugs in the app. Then, he even asked us to fix those bugs that very moring! If you ask me, I was expecting he'd "freeze" a "demo build" on Wednesday. We could've at least presented something with well-known bugs, and skirted around those bugs.

The demo went really well though. = ) Thanks, I bet, because God intervened. (yes, I believe in God) The boss is a good person, trying to do the right thing, and God decided to affirm that by saving his ass that day.

the problem with an elaborate hack is that your boss only notices when it DOESN'T work
