Bailey at 3 months

She is already 3 months!  Can't believe it!  Bailey has become such a happy smiley baby!  Whenever I go in to get up she gives me the biggest smiles, I love it!  Even when she's crying or fussing if you smile at her she'll start to smile, it's adorable. She hasn't laughed yet but I can tell it's close because she'll smile SO big you can tell if she kept it up a giggle would come out.  Hopefully this month, I love when they start laughing.  She is so opposite of Isabel as in she doesn't have to be held, hallelujah!  I remember when Isabel was a baby, before she could crawl, all she wanted was to be held!  It was really rough.  Bailey on the other hand will just hang out where ever.  She likes her play mat, changing pad, bouncer, and swing.  She does great on her tummy, though she's not a huge fan of doing it.  She can hold her head up really well.  Looks like shes going to have blue eyes, I'd be shocked if they changed because they're pretty blue.  I keep expecting our kids to have brown eyes because that's what Cameron has and browns dominant, but so far no brown eyed girls.  I discover Baileys teething the other week!  Might take a while til they break through but there are two definite bumps on the bottom gums.  I dread teething :(  I can tell she's in pain.  She'll try sticking both her hands in her mouth and then she'll start crying :(  Hopefully they break through soon.  She's fitting in 3 month clothing a little too well, I'm afraid she may have to start wearing 3-6 months.  She's still so little but filling out.  She's right on track with being long like Isabel but she doesn't weigh as much.  She's sleeping 11-12 hrs at night with normally 2 feedings, 1 on a good night.  You never really get use to waking up to feed them :(  Her sleeping is really messed up because of teething though.  She rolled over twice the other day!  This girl is in a hurry to grow up I think; teething an rolling over at 3 months? ;)  I can't believe how much faster the second one grows up!

Potty Training.  She's done so well with it.  All it took was one time on the potty and she picked it right up.  I don't even have to ask if she needs to go, she'll just run to the bathroom and go by herself.  So proud of her.  The sticker charts and prizes have really helped.  I was afraid she would always want a piece of candy after she peed but luckily it's slowly died down haha.

Bailey at 2 Months, Isabels 3rd Birthday, & Easter

Bailey hit 2 months on March 23.  She has become such an easier baby then before.  We've had major formula problems with her which resulted in a fussy gassy baby for far too long.  I finally got the nerve to try a homemade formula which has done wonders for her!  She's content when awake and sleeps a lot longer day and night.  If anyone is interested the formula has coconut milk, hemp milk, and rice milk, mixed with ultracare for kids (the nutrients and vitamins), flax oil (fat), DHA, and probiotics.  She's doing great on it and it smells so nice!  It's great knowing exactly what she's eating, as opposed to formula where there's a bunch of other stuff added to it.
I've been taking her to a chiropractor which has helped her a ton.  I took her there to see if adjustments would help her with her gas and fussiness, but the chiropractor noticed she wouldn't turn her head to the left.  I had noticed it but didn't think much of it.  Anyways, with adjustments and me stretching her left side of her neck out, she's improved a lot!  She still fusses when I stretch her out but she'll now turn her neck!!
At her 2 month check up Bailey weighs 10 lbs and 14 oz, and she's 24 inches long.  She's long and skinny just like Isabel :)  She wakes 2 times at night to eat which isn't ideal but she's still a newborn so I'm hoping as she gets older she'll drop one.  She goes down pretty early at night, around 7pm, though it changes day to day.  It's been really nice to have her and Isabel in bed at about the same time, I've gotten my nights back way sooner then I thought I would!  I started putting Bailey in her crib this past week.  It's been a little rough but each day gets better.  She is waking more at night so I may keep her in her bassinet at night...we'll see if it makes a difference.  I always thought I'd know what I was doing with my second but it's like starting over again!  Isabel and Bailey have been SUCH different babies that I'm just as lost and confused as I was with Isabel, and looking back, Isabel was a really good and easy baby!  She had to be held ALL the time which was really hard but she had no formula issues and she slept really well at night (not days though).  Before I had Bailey I collected all my baby sleeping books to give away and now I find myself digging them out and reading them!  I didn't think I'd need them cause I thought I'd know what I was doing this time.  The formula issue has been the biggest obstacle for us so far so it's so nice we've figured it out and moved on.  She's such a happier baby now.
She has a really strong neck and does great with tummy time.  She smiles now which to me is a great milestone babies reach.  This is, in my opinion, when they become less fussy.  She's not super smiley, you have to work really hard to get a smile out of her, haha she might be our serious child ;)  Isabel still gets all excited when Bailey wakes up.  She says 'AWWWW there's Bailey!'  Then she'll come over to her and kiss and hug her, it's very sweet.  Last night Bailey learned how to roll over on her stomach swaddled!  Scared me to death to look at the monitor and see her flat on her stomach.  She did it twice so I put her in her bassinet, hasn't done it today.  How crazy is that?!  She's only 2 months and she was swaddled!  Hoping it was some weird fluke and won't happen again.
All in all we are enjoying Bailey so much!  Our life is settling in and we're starting to get use to the changes around here, it sure was hard at first!

Isabel turned 3 on march 31st!  So crazy!  Since her birthday fell on Easter this year we had a party for her on Saturday.  She has a slight Alice in Wonderland obsession so we had an Alice birthday.  She loved it and looked adorable in her Alice dress.  We love this little girl so much! She is so fun and funny and has so much to say!  She is a really happy child (minus the 3 year old tantrums ;), she plays so well by herself and with other children.  She is such a polite little thing.  She says 'thanks' all the time, and 'no thank you', and 'sorry'.  Even when not necessary, like when she runs into the couch she'll apologize to the couch lol.  She loves Lalaloopsy and Alice toys right now.  She'll play with both for hours!  She still loves dress up clothes and her pjs!  She is SO girly, I love it!  We asked her what she wants to be when she grows up and she said a singer, we then asked if she'll want to play volleyball, she replied, (giggled)'no way'.  100% girl!  It'll be fun to see what her real interests become as she gets older.  She loves this country song from the show Nashville called Fade into You and asks to listen to it the whole time we're in the car.  She'll pretend to be singing along with it, it's adorable!  She knows some of the lyrics but not much, she'll just move her mouth lol.  I can't believe she's 3!  This last year flew by!  It makes me a little sad :( but it's so fun seeing her grow and learn.
