We’re BACK!!
We are going to start posting on this blog again. We’ve moved back to PA and need some way to keep in touch with our loved ones on the other side of the country. I told Kim I’d get her a recipe of this delicious Hawaiian friend rice we’ve been eating lately. Here’s that and be ready for post of our drive across the country to our new home.

I have new photography blog.. I’ve been updating it as much as I can. check it out.
Also Kendall and I have decided I’m going to move back home. We feel our relationship is strong enough to handle the hard times of dealing with a “long distance” relationship until Kendall is done with school. That way I’ll be able to get started on getting my Teaching degree so I won’t be so far behind when she does arrive. I can’t wait to see you all. ❤ I will be home late Sunday night.
Kendall Dawn Barnoff
Kendall was born July 31st, 1988 in Norfolk, Virginia, to Father Mark Barnoff and Mother Leesa Folk. She has a brother 3 years older named kyle and a brother 5 years younger named Kory. They moved to Seattle, Washington when Kendall was 6 months old. Two years later, they moved to Stormstown, Pennsylvania, where her dad is still living to this day. She started doing gymnastics when she was two years old. Kendall’s family has been working at Woodward summer camp since she was 5 years old. There really hasn’t been a summer since† without the Barnoffs at woodward. Lucky for me that’s the same camp I’ve been attending every summer for the past 8 years.
I somehow didn’t really meet Kendall until the begging of last summer. She instantly became my best friend and the person I’d go to when I needed someone. I heard from a friend that she gave the best hugs ever, and I later found out it was true! Kendall and I continued our friendship throughout the entire summer with a few small bumps. I once asked her if it would ruin our friendship if I tried to kiss her. She replied “yes”. DENIED!! When I left Woodward for Japan we were both very sad to see such a good friendship separate, and scared our friendship would fade like most friendships at Woodward do. The whole time I was in Japan I couldn’t stop thinking about her. Kendall collects classic Coke merchandise and Japan is FULL of that! I even bought and hauled around three full coke cans during most the trip for her. I arrived back in the States and fist person I called was her. After that call and the reinsurance that our friendship wasn’t going to fade there was only a few days we didn’t talk on the phone up until thanksgiving when she came to visit.
I knew what Kendall and I had was amazing and I planned not to get feelings involved. My friend kept saying “your going to kiss her huh?” and my reply was “guys we’re just friends and I wouldn’t want to ruin what we have to kiss her.” even though I really wanted to. To my surprise Kendall kissed me the fist night she was here! 🙂 The whole trip went so well I couldn’t stop smiling even after she left. I knew there was something there, so 8 days after she left, we decided that I’m going to PA so we can try what we thought was real. Nine days after that I packed my car and left Utah.
It was the best decision I’ve ever made. I found the girl I’ve been searching for my whole life. Kendall is someone that makes me want to be a better person. The motivation to make my life better. The girl I would want to raise my children. She’s very shy. Always wants to make people happy. Will do anything she can to help. She was diagnosed with Narcolepsy November 06. Even though she sleeps through classes she doesn’t let that stop her from continuing to finish school. Instead finds a way around it and brings a recorder to class. She’s the cutest sleeper ever! She’s a perfectionist… down to the T. She’s a very hard worker. The person your upset you work with because they set the bar so high for everyone else. The girl who can wake up from her narcoleptic sleep to get me a bottle of water because I don’t feel good. There’s so much more to this 5’2, 107 lbs Ken DOLL. The girl I call Pouchie and I love her. ❤

I’ve updated my flickr a bunch. check that out! 🙂 love you all. sorry for not blogging so much. sometimes I feel like there’s not much going on that’s interesting enough for my family. haha
I just got back from being away for 6 days from Kendall and noticed that the sunset was going to be pretty good. I don’t really know the area to find a good place for Kendall and I to enjoy it together, so I asked Kendall if she knew anywhere. She ended up asking this boy who use to have a crush on her YEARS ago! He gave us directions to this place. We arrived and got out a little after the sunset on the horizon. We heard a car driving on the dirt road. Kendall joked and said it would be crazy if it was “so and so” (the boy who she got directions from). We looked up at the car and it WAS him!! Romantic moment ruined by a boy who decieded to get out of his car.. it was cold so I got the picture and told kendall I’d be in the car. She came right over and thanked me for saving her. The boy ended up leaving going the same direction he came from and then passing by us again 15 min later. maybe just me but I felt CREEPED OUT!
Dasha Family Photos
I went out to Philly again to take Dasha’s family photos this past weekend. Here are some of the pictures from it.
Paid Philly Trip
I had a payed vacation this last weekend from a friend I met at woodward this past summer. Her name is Dasha. She’s also helping me do my photo exhibit. It was a step outside reality for a bit. I felt like I was living the rich and famous life style. She also flew my friend Chris Olpin out for this weekend. We stayed at a Hotel in downtown philly called The Rittenhouse Hotel with her and her two kids Katharine and Nick (he rollerblades) . The room was SOOOOOO SOOO big. I guess she got a deal on it but it usually cost 1600 a night to stay there. After having a fun night at the hotel Dasha treated me to a nice new haircut at a very nice place. I’ve always wanted a man cut my hair. He did an amazing job. We then went to her very nice house 15 min outside the city. It didn’t look big on the outside but was very spacious and nice inside. We went to the skatepark that night. The next morning Kendall and I cooked Lisa’s pancake recipe for everyone. They loved them! We said goodbye to Chris. Then Dasha loaded her jeep up with furniture and sent us off back to reality of being broke and jobless. 🙂 haha
I have an interview with a portrait studio on Tuesday the 10th. Wish me LUCK!! I really need a job. Also I need help on what I should do for Kendall on Valentines day… Come on sisters I need you for this one. If your bf/husband was broke what would be the cutest most meaningful thing he could do for you. I’ve never really had a real valentine… either has Kendall. So I want to make this special for her.

Tremblant Canada Eh?
New Years was good. I feel like it will be a good year for me! I finally got to meet some of Kendall’s friends. They were really nice and made a good dinner for us.
Kendall is the treasurer for her snowboard club at Penn State (*side note: too bad their team couldn’t do what Utah did this year… I had to sit and watch a ton of Penn State fans be very unhappy about their end to the season.) She was able to take me on the trip for free. Hotel and 5 days on the snow with a 10 hour bus ride there and back. We had a really good time in Canada together. A few small speed bumps that we learned from and got over pretty easily.
So far things are working out here. Learning the roads.. ( i don’t even need the GPS to get to my place anymore. haha) Kendall just started school again. I’m making a trip out to Philadelphia this coming up weekend to see a few Photo Exhibits. So I can learn and prepare for mine a little better. Still in the moving in process.. My office is off the ground at the moment because of no computer desk. We found some cheap options that we’re going to check out soon.

Kaleigh, I saw Cache Today!! (is that how you spell it?) He’s talking so well!! Mom, Dad & I set up a video chat so I can talk and see the kids every Tuesday.
Kim & Leslie, I also got to talk to Brendan and Avry on the video chat as well. (spelling?) They were more excited to see Kendall then me! I heard Tallon has two teeef now! He might eat through the doors he’s so chubby. So be carefull! I miss the kids for sure.

Merry Christmas From Kendall & Cameron

Yesterday for Christmas we woke up at Kendall’s Fathers house (mark barnoff) and had a delicious breakfast that everyone helped to contribute to. We opened our stockings. (yes I did get a stocking 🙂 After opening our stockings and seeing all the treats we got we all went downstairs to see what kendall and the two brothers Kory (younger bro), and Kyle (older bro) Got. Kendall had to work at the local ski resort Tussey at 11. I decieded to try snowboarding in the east coast. Everything I heard, was true!! Really icy conditions! After kendall got off work we headed over to Grandma’s house for a family dinner with the extended family. I had a really good Christmas with Kendalls family.

The Drive
I can’t believe how well everything has been going so far. Everything seems to work it self out for me. I already miss you all so much! Thank you for all your help and support . The drive went well except my FIRST speeding ticket!! 85 in a 65… Oops. If you look at the first picture I was actually taking that photo while being pulled over. I didn’t notice she was pulling me over for a bit. She asked why it took so long for me to pull over and what I was hiding. haha I showed her the pictures and she said “that’s not too safe.” I ended up driving 18 hours strait the first day with no bad weather. There was some wind blowing snow across the road but that was the worst of it. NEBRASKA was sooo boring!! I had to pull over and have some kind of fun taking a photo to get all the way through it. I slept at a rest stop for a couple hours took a pictures and then drove 12 more hours of GREAT weather to Kendalls fathers home near State College.
Please keep in touch! Motivate the family to get to blogging so we can all see what’s going on in each others life’s. (especially me who needs some kind of family contact)
