Update Alert!!

Here come the last 2 months in pictures!

I figured it would be easier to catch up on my slacking blog by getting it all done in one or two big posts! So hang on tight!!!

Rich turned 30 right before Sean was born! I broke down and gave in... He finally got the one thing he has been wishing for since he was about 10 years old. His boat is his newest best friend and his happy place. You can't wipe the smile off of his face when he is driving it or skiing behind it. He is such an amazing husband and friend. I thank my lucky stars that I get to be his wife! I keep thinking I am going to find him sleeping in it in the garage one of these nights... Love you!

Ethan turned 3!! He is such a fun little guy! He has more energy than a room full of monkeys (and he can rip it apart faster than they could, too!) His birthday was celebrated with family and friends. He had a great day! We love having this little burst of sunshine in our home!

Baby Sean was blessed by his daddy! He is such a sweet baby! We had a great day celebrating with family and friends. I (once again) did a horrible job at taking pictures! I missed pics with grandmas!!! Katrina assured me that she has some I can get copies of... phew! Thank heavens for responsible sister-in-laws! Having Sean is our family is so much fun! He has more love than he knows what to do with!

Baseball/T-ball season is upon us once again! Carter is playing machine pitch baseball again this year and is loving it! Max is playing T-ball with a bunch of his buddies and having a great time! I am learning that I need to start enjoying watching this sport... It's not my favorite. My kids, however, seem to love it. So as I mom of 4 boys, I guess I had better just get used to it! :)

Easter!

Easter was a lot fun at our house this year. The boys all had matching outfits for church, but of course, I forgot to snap their picture!!! grrrr. So I only have messy pajama pictures from the wee hours of the morning. Better luck next year!

He's Finally Here!!!

Our 4th little boy finally arrived at 12:50am, today.

To put it mildly, this labor and delivery was not exactly what I was expecting! We thought he would be here in under 6 hrs.... boy were we wrong! He finally made his debut after 2 IVs, 2 attempts to break my water, 2 epidurals (seriously, worst experience EVER), 12 hours of labor and 2 1/2 hours of pushing!!!! He was in NO hurry!

Name: Sean

Weight: 8 lbs 13 oz (a whole lb. bigger than my next biggest)

Length: 20 inches

20 days and counting...

So, the new little guy should be here in less than three weeks! I had a doctor's apt. yesterday and she scheduled an induction for me for the 23rd of Feb! That's only 2 1/2 weeks away! The only hang up is that it is Rich's 30th birthday, too! I don't think he's too excited about spending it in a hospital. Actually, more than that, I think that Rich doesn't want this new little one to have to share his birthday. He wants him to have his own special day. So... we are rescheduling it for Thurs. the 26th (my Dr.'s next "on call" day). That's in three weeks from yesterday!

I'm super excited to get him here and not be pregnant anymore!!! However, I am starting to freak out a little bit about being the mom of 4 BOYS! --Not sure I can handle this one! Plus we are still really struggling with a name! I have a feeling it will come down to the hours we are leaving the hospital before we figure it out!

Okay, I'm bugged...

So, here is my question... What, exactly posesses a person (or people) to make the decision to yank 2 of our landscape lights out of the ground and throw them into the street? Causing one of them to be run over and completely shattered?

I mean come on! Who does that??? Grrrr...

The Holidays!

Our Christmas season was fantastic. We had a ton of fun with friends and family. The kids (and I suppose Rich and I) were way too spoiled, as usual. We are so grateful for this time of year that we all have to reflect on our Savior and all of our blessings. What a perfect way to end the year!We hope you all had a great holiday season, too!

We are looking forward to a great 2009 with a ton of exciting events and happening in our family. A new baby brother, a new niece/cousin, a new aunt/sister in law, a new missionary, a bunch of exciting vacations (including an amazing cruise in Europe!), and the list goes on and on.
