non-food

  • 1 Pull ups 9.77-2.00 off couponI thought I had a Cellfire or shortcuts 2.00 Q 7.77

Okay i need to post this somewhere and you guys are my guinea pigs - you are stuck reading my boring crap that comoes ouotta my head...I want to figure out how expensive it is for me to cook meals so I can be more cost conscious. I cook like I do everything else - quick and dirty (For the most part) I'm going to list the main dish and then eventually post recipes - if you want any specific recipe let me know - nonoe of these are reeally diet friendly except the salads LOL :)

Sloppy Joe

Quick and Dirty Coupon Matchup post
Silly girl
Imagecaranya
Ok here is a quick and dirty coupon matchup post - basically want to provide you with some information :)

If you use coupons.com (or kraft.com) there is a $1.00 printable coupon for Kraft BBQ Sauce. Some Targets (Not mine - but I live in the "Rich" part of town *rolls eyes*) have the BBQ Sauce for $1.09 a bottle - .09 BBQ Sauce! (I paid .58 :( )

Kraft Velveeta IP $1.00 + $1.00 Cellfire = $2.00 off at Kroger (Should be $2.00 after coupons - roughly if memory serves)

Country Time IP $1.50/2 - if Kroger is still running the Catalina (print out coupon) deal where youo get $1.00 off your next order for buying two Country time cannisters then it may be worth it. They were 4/5$ at my kroger when last I checked.

Crystal Light IP $1.00 off any CL Product - WALMART - $1.97 Before coupon = .97 CL to go (If you get the sticks) Or you can go to Target and get a box of them from near the registers, a 3 pack of it for .99 -1.00 coupon = free. I'd rather have a full size box.

Crystal Light IP $2.00 off any 2 CL product - WALMART again with the 1.97. You are paying .97 a pack for the CL.

Koolaid $1.00/2 = Some krogers have had koolaid canisters on sale for $1.00

Kraft Bagelfuls $1.00/1 They are like $1.88 at Walmart right now. So 1 box for .88 not bad.

Yoplait Yogurt IP .45 / 6 I have 3 ecoupons for these and multiple IP and MQ's for these - I could eat Yoplait yogurt for days! I have 2 .50 Cellfire coupons and 1 .40 Shortcuts coupon so it's either 1.30 or 1.20 if Kroger doubles or it's .85 or .95 off if your kroger doesn't double.

PULL UPS!!!! 2.00!!! Kmart will be doubling coupons up to 2.00 next week everywhere but a few stores - this wouold be AWESOME to use there OR 2.00 Shortcuts coupon + 2.00 IP = 4.00 off pullups!!! (They are currently 9.77 at my kroger)

Hamburger Helper - .80/3 Kroger price is 3/$5 and so is walmart price. I have an additional .75 Cellfire coupoon at kroogere so tohat makes these 1.55 off so it comes to 3.45 for 3 boxes.

Lucky Charms - .50 IP and I have .55 E-coupons (3 of them!! 2 CF and 1 SC) so that's 1.05 off if no doubles and 1.55 off if doubles.

Dry Idea 2.00 IP - Target has this 2.49 this week you can take it there for .49 deodorant OR save it and go to kmart next week for super doubles for FREE!!!

Benefiber 2.00 on any - Walmart has the 8 pack of the drinkn sticks foor 2.49!!!

For more info check out http://www.moneysavingmom.com for coupon matchups...

Kmart matchups for super doubles here Thanks to Common Sense with Money
Printable Coupon Roundup here Thx to Crystal@MSM!
Target coupon matchup here Thx to Crystal@MSM

I say go add your ecoouopons and print ouot the sheet that lists what you have added and if you have a printed coupon to go with it then go to krogere becausee it's like doubling for the mosot par :)

Anyway - i need to go night night for the time being :) Goodnight and save wel!!

Okay so it's show and tell time

As none of you know - I have a confession to make. *stands up on her chair so as to be heard* I, Carol Wright, am a coupon addict!

So - the American economy sucks right now. (I don't want to hear from you smelly Canadians - your dollar is FINALLY worth more than mine!!! ;) Just kidding -you know I have much love for the Canadians !!!)

As you may or may not know, I have no income at the moment because despite having a college degree, the town where I live is dying and if I were to get a job there, it would likely only pay minimum wage. If I am making minimum wage then every penny earned would be paid to the dayacare. A biology degree is useful only in certain places and small-town USA is not one of them.

There is not a thriving economy anywhere in America right now but especially in small-town USA things are really bad so I have had to be creative in managing the small amount of money that we do have. (I do want to thank my cousin Candy Lewis for reminding me how helpful coupons are and for turning me into the addict that I am!)

Please give couponing a try! If you don't want to but you get a Sunday paper and have those annoying coupon inserts please let me know! I'll be happy to pay for the shipping to grab those from you :)

Prior to becoming a savvy shopper I shopped exclusively at Wal-mart and spent roughly $75.00 on food each week in big shopping trips then a 25.00 shopping trip here and a 30.00 shopping trip there and before I knew it over 600.00 GONE for the month on food!!

If you read this and find it useful I am very pleased and I hope that it helps you. I also hope that God blesses your life!

Every month I feed four adults, a toddler and a wee-tiny baby. I was spending roughly $600.00 a month to feed us. Plus we were spending over $100.00 a month on incidentals and in fact to save money I started using the kids shampoo/body wash and had been using the same toothbrush for like a year.

Now, for the most part all of our incidentals/toiletries are free or extremely cheap. I am working on a nice stockpile of items that I have gotten for free.

This morning when I showered, I washed my hair with free shampoo(Pert Plus), I shaved my legs with 24-cent shaving cream (Skintimate) using a free razor. (Schick Intuition) I got out of the shower and brushed my teeth with free toothpaste (Crest Pro-Health) with $1.00 motorized toothbrush. (Oral-B cross action). Then I used my 24-cent deodorant (lady speed stick)and free (Vaseline Intensive Care) Lotion.

When I went to Kroger recently I saved $132 (68% of my final order!) and I walked out after only paying 60.00 (10.51 in non-food purchases and 50 something in food AND I bought diapers)

If you want to save money too then please read below. This may be brand new for some people so I'm going to break it down Kindergarten style...If it's old hat for you then AWESOME! Tell me some of YOUR Hints PLEASE!!:

It has become a game to me to see exactly how cheap I can make items and to see how much I can get for very little. You soon find out that shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and some food items are typically free if you shop right.

Moneysavingmom.com is run by Crystal who has a 30.00 a week budget for food. She follows the buy ahead principle and it seems to work for her. It's working for me. So why don't you go ahead and try it and let me know how much you save!!! ALSO tell me some of YOUR money saving hints :)

cloth diapering?
Silly girl
Imagecaranya
I've been reading all week over at www.simplemom.net about cloth diapering. If you are pregnant or have a non-potty trained little one and are tired of spending a MINT on disposables (And I do mean a MINT!) then you may be interested in her review of diapers located here. She is also having a diaper giveaway that is sponsored by several manufacturers of cloth diapers. They are too cute and could you imagine how cool it would be not to have to buy a bunch of diapers anymore? Not to menetion the lack of diapers you would be sending to the landfill!!!
