Yes! We are alive...

Hey my blogging pals, thought I would update the blog after 6 months! I hope you all still want to be friends even though I am not a fun blogger :) We are all doing good and busy so here are just a few pictures for now.....see ya soon!

Happy First Birthday Cash!

I can't believe our baby is already one! I swear we were just taking our little guy home from the hospital and wondering "now what" and being so worried about every little thing...I have tried to make sure to saver every moment because everyone tells me how fast the newborn baby stage goes by and when I look back I wish I would have cuddled him just a little longer each night because he isn't much of a cuddler anymore! He has brought so much excitement to our lives and we are sooo so blessed to be his parents! He now has six teeth, says "ba" (ball), "dada", and uhooo :) He has many expressions as you can all see in pictures and loves to party when he hears music. He LOVES his dad and his poppy more than anything and "likes" his mom a lot :) Cash monkey we love you so so much...HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BUD. We hope you had fun with your family and friends!

Here is Cash's birthday party invite and a bithday banner I made, my first attempt at being creative!


We had a monkey theme for the party and I made this cute monkey cake for Cash to dig into but he wasn't real interested, which really surprised us! He just picked at it and wanted to feed it to his cousin Kennedy :)





I just want to thank our WONDERFUL AMAZING family and friends who came to Cash's party and for the fun gifts...You are all so sweet and made Cash's first birthday so special and we are so grateful for all of you and can't thank you enough!!! Sam, thank you soooo much for the amazing video you made and for all your help with everything, I cry everytime I watch it and love every part of it! It will be fun to look back on over the years!! THANKS, you are the best! AND Mom, I couldn't have made all those cupcakes and food without you, you are amazing!
Sorry for the picture overload, but here are just a few more! On Cash's actual birthday we had him open presents from us and gave him a cupcake that he went crazy on!! What a fun weekend we had :)

Hi Guys!

So I figured its time to update the Carnahan blog! We haven't really been up to much, Ben is getting Old School up and going and he's been pretty busy with that. I am still working 2 days a week and chasing Cash around the other 5 days of the week, he is a little terror these days! I can't believe our little man is turning ONE this month! Time goes by way too fast. On a side note, my friend Britt came to visit from Texas for the first time since having her cute baby girl and we had a little get together...

Tub Love and Stuff

Just wanted to post a few quick pictures of Cash partyin in the tub and being silly! He is so FULL of personality! His very favorite things right now are clapping, cough copying, chatting while twisting his tongue and making really strange cheezy faces :) He is so much fun and such a happy little dude...well other than when I'm changing his diaper and getting him dressed, that is seriously the hardest part of my day! But I sure love our guy like crazy and have so much fun with him!

Iggy's and 'He's Just Not That Into You'

So I loved this movie! It was hilarious and total ON with how guys and girls are. Go see it with your girlfriends though, I'm pretty sure the husbands won't be totally into it, even though they'd probably get a few good laughs. My friends and I planned this weeks ago because it is pretty hard to get together these days. But we had so much fun hanging out, its been WAY too long. We missed you Ash :( Sorry you couldn't make it.

Girls Day!

My very favorite neighbors and I had a "fun" outing on Friday. We started the day with a trip to the salon to see the one and only Nikoo and then stopped at Paradise Cafe for lunch. Thanks Marci for getting us all together for some much needed salon time :) I definitely think we should make a tradition out of this! Anyway, just wanted to post the picture from our day.

December Wrap Up

HEY HEY HEY! I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas! We had a pretty good one, Ben had to work most of the day plowing but we got to have our little family Christmas together and watch Cash open presents and ate breakfast at my parents. Cash had a Great 1st Christmas and we had so much fun with him! I haven't posted anything in a while so I hope you all don't get bored of all the pictures I'm about to post! Oh, I celebrated my 26th Birthday on December 15th, 26 is a little depressing!

Anyway, here we go....

Christmas Eve...Ben's mom puts on a little program every year to remind us what Chrstmas is all about. Then we get spoiled with presents and play the envelope $$ game :)
