Dance and interior designing

I noticed Jenna looking at paint sample cards. She loves to design things. I think we may have an interior designer in our future. She looks in catalogues and tells me that looks good or does not look good. I am amazed at her artistic abilities. She signed up for an after school art class this past spring and loved the class. She knows information on artists and is starting to learn techniques. I think I need to find her a summer art class. Jenna just finished a big dance recital last weekend. She was in a tap dance Sisters and ribbon dance "Rainbow Connection." I remember this song from when Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy use to sing the song. She did a great job on stage. She told me she was nervous before she went on. I told her it's ok because mommy gets nervous playing piano in front of others. She said, "But you are so good." Wow! That made me feel so good. I told her, "I know dear, but being nervous is natural. Just have fun!" She did. Her darling crown fell off on stage and she kept dancing and having fun.

2012

Before I knew it the half the year has gone by. Johnathan has finished a spring season of hockey and is enjoying taking the summer off (at least mom is enjoying it). His team won the Semi-Valley tournament. He also spent last week at hockey camp in Valencia. Mommy and Jenna found really cool shopping mall in Santa Clarita and spent time riding carousel's and doing a lot of shopping. The King's won the Stanley Cup and Johnathan didn't want to miss one minute of action during the games. He was glued to the tv and set the DVR for the games. He wants to change his last name to Quick so he can have the MVP's last name. We have 3 dogs now; Sheriff, Snowflake, and Mint. Mint is getting use to the other dogs but sometimes still gets jealous. The dogs are getting so big. I look at pictures from when they were babies to now and I can't tell who is in the picture. We are working on cleaning up the weeds in the backyard, putting a small grass area in, moving the swing set, and finishing the dog house. Next on the list is new floors for the craft room and a pantry for the kitchen. Jared has a shed in his near future. Our garage is so much smaller than our apartment and sadly has not been organized. We now have gardening supplies that just simply don't fit into the garage.
