Life catch up

  Micah's instructor picture is finally up at the dojo. I bought a dry sauna. I've been researching for a while and I really like this one. I love that it can have your hands-free and that your head doesn't get overheated. Yes, I researched the effect of everyday sauna use and you shouldn't have your head overheat... And I researched how beneficial these are for inflammation and detoxing. And I researched how beneficial it is for blood sugar. I pretty much am in love with it. It looks a bit alien-like, but so far Tim and I quite like it. Tim sold his work trailer and his machine. I was very sad, and from a scale of 1 to 10, Tim's level of sadness was a one. So apparently it hit me harder. Today we went out looking for a little Tacoma and he found this one. I'm pretty happy for him.  He has worked hard, and a lot of things haven't gone his way, so it makes me really happy to see something he enjoys. I asked Dakota and Micah to give us a family lesson. Tim's fake stroke

Friday night I stayed up and watched a movie with Micah and Tim's headache was back (well, hasn't really gone away but was getting worse) so he went to bed earlier than I did.  I got up  early and went to the track with Amber and walked for an hour.  When I got back at 8:30 that morning, I cleaned the kitchen and saw Tim coming down the stairs. He looked funny and when I asked if he was okay he said, "LLLLaaaunndddryyy" in a stutturing kind of voice. I asked him again if he was okay and he looked at me, paused, went back upstairs, then turned around and came back. He still couldn't put words together, and then sort of all of the sudden, by the time he was in the kitchen and sat down, he could say a few things.  He told me the right side of his face was numb and down his ride arm.  He was confused and it took him a long time to get words out.  I immediately thought it might be having a mini stroke. Christmas Afternoon

Christmas afternoon we left Tim sleeping and went to my mom's for lunch and to see everyone.  Branden came but didn't bring Jessica or Maddie (I guess b/c of work) and Tom and his whole clan missed it because the kids and Megan were really sick. Ty told me he made this veggie tree for me; I kinda doubt it but I loved it. Actually, I was in a little bit of a bad mood on Christmas afternoon on account of that morning, but I tried to be really happy about this veggie tree. Do I love this picture of Jesus hanging on my mom's wall next to the cutest nativities?  YES.  Do I want one?  YES. TRIPLE YES. As per the yearly joke we play on my mom, the kids slowly changed into her clothes to see how long it would take to notice.  She saw Copper first and said, "Oh! Christmas Morning

  Christmas morning, early morning, Tim was probably the worst  (pain wise) than he'd been in quite awhile so we made our 2nd trip to the ER in 10 days.  He was mildly low on oxygen but nothing to worry about, but they did give him some while the meds worked.  This ER doctor was TONS better than the one we saw a week or so ago and pointed out that his nerve root is compressed (something like that?) and to follow up with his pain management doctor and the neurosurgeon.  Again.   The girls were AMAZING! I woke them up to tell them we were leaving, and while we were gone they cleaned and organized all the Christmas gifts.  They made monkey bread from scratch and arranged a cute little charcuterie board with pretzels, grapes, macarons, and other little treats.  I just love them.   These are the centerpieces Dakota and Micah made in their floral design class.
