I'll be an art slave to anyone who can help me install oC 3.03e Plus on my computer.
I'm using Vista and can't run the .exe for oC 3.03e Plus. As it's installing, it cuts out and then gives me this error:
I've tried going into properties and using all the different compatibility modes. I'm running it as an admin account/I'm logged into my admin account.
Please help. :(

GatheringRO had a server wipe because too many people were duping. Sigh. It would have been nicer if they waited to do the wipe in September when school starts because that would give me a really good reason to quit playing (because paying 6K for school isn't a good enough reason right? Pffft) but alas there's too little time between now and school to start something new, so I might as well just keep playing RO. At least I know what items to keep and quest for, and all that stuff. The day before the wipe was crazy, with everyone dropping rarez and GMs dropping super rarez. I got to experience a few neat headgears I had never heard of so that was cool. I also sold my red glasses for 1 billion soon-to-be-deleted zeny. I just wanted to know what it felt like to be rich. LOL.
God, that is so cute. But it's only for acolyte class. I want my alchemist to wear it since he has a sheep homunculus.
I will edit this with more screenshots later.

Is there anyone out there with a knowledge of German or credible resources (like a dictionary) that can help me with a translation? For some reason the word "Rosenkreuz" came into my mind and I don't remember where it's from. I only know it's a surname, but does it actually make sense as a word by itself? Kreuz = cross, but is the "rosen" a proper adjective for it? Rose cross? Rosen cross?
Maybe I should just stick to French. *headdesk*

I beat Yggdra Union yesterday. Unlike most games, the ending is really short. There's like, one page of epilogue and the credits are shrunk down to like -5 point font. It was kind of sad. But I guess it kind of fit with the game style. Now I can abuse the extra contents section! The music that plays when you browse it is so epic. But the Yggdra Union PAC links on Galbadia Hotel don't work now for some reason. I'm not finished downloading, damn it. Fixthemsoonpls. ):
I'm replaying it again lolololol. I want to try getting items/events I missed this time, and MVP other characters this time through instead of Milanor like 100 times. His stats were maxed long before the end of the game because he kept getting MVP and I didn't know how. "orz I think I'd like to keep Roswell though. I don't really like the witch units that much, though Rosary does have a nice character design, and I want to know what her character is like--hopefully not just a female version of Roswell. But I don't approve of the process I have to go through to get Rosary, so... ):
I want the hat Roswell wears. I wonder if I can make it. Or buy one like it. I've always wanted to go hat shopping. It's like my secret, because I have a thing for sophisticated-looking hats. Last year when I went shopping with Helen in Hamilton I did take time to look at pretty hats I liked, particularly hat-types like the one in my old Winter Sonata picture. But they were too expensive and I didn't indulge. They didn't look THAT good on me.
Browsing through the extra contents at the end of the game, I went through the CG portraits of the characters and realized that the artist draws those really skinny, head-is-going-to-snap-off-because-no-support necks. Now 90% of the characters freak me out. *shudder* I didn't notice before because the clothes were drawn in a way to attract attention and focus, so they sort of hid the neck, but then I took a closer look (because I wanted to draw potential fanart crai) and saw how skinny the necks are. It's a horrible discover. Now I have to like, guard my eyes when I look at the characters. Or just try and forget I saw this. *headdesk*
( And these two minor characters make me feel like a failure at character design.Collapse )

THIS GAME ISN'T ENDING. :D :D
Maybe in like, one more field. ): I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to use the new item I found for Durant because I already equipped him with another uber that lasts for three maps. You can't unequip and then equip a new item; you have to wait until your current item runs out of turns. It would suck so bad after having gone through 90% of the game to finally get the dragon item only to not be able to use it because I equipped something else. Lame.
Fortunately it didn't happen that way, so I got to see ( Durant become a dragon knight. :DCollapse )
This game is said to have several endings, whereby I got the "bad one" by experimenting on the side. I forgot to abuse the Extra Contents section before returning to my original save state, though. In any case, though that ending is "bad", it kind of ruins second antagonist's plan as you'll find out if you skip the bad ending and continue on into the rest of the game. Not everything is working out as you plotted now, sucker. What if Yggdra game overs? Hohoh. WHATCHA GONNA DO NOW, SUCKER? *brick*

Booyah~! Though this is an old triumph now, as I've been able to get him to MVP several other maps. ♥
But boo, you get another knight unit later on in the game. A Temple Knight, therefore he spouts dialogue with religious touch, which isn't very intense, but is kind of boring. Durantpwnsyou,sry. And WTF, why does he have to be a mandatory army unit on my current map? That makes a total of 4 mandatory units and I could only choose 2 others, which couldn't include Durant. I didn't really see a reason to have two knights, but I'd rather take Durant than the Temple knight 'cause he can't use road terrain as an advantage, and there are roads everywhere on the field. We didn't mind saving your ass from getting kicked, but please pack your things and go home now to the temple. We don't need your help to escourt blahblah. srsly. ): In fact, blahblah told him to go home, and he was going, and hurray! off he went, about to leave the map when fuxx, the enemy units got in the way and stopped him, and now he's stuck with our army and getting his ass kicked. Again. I'm on the same battlefield map too, so I can't change my units to include Durant, who would totally pwn the dragon riders and the hoho with her Gloucester eye treatment, by using the roads that are freaking EVERYWHERE X2. Sigh.

I think I'm almost done the game...???!!1122eqadjnkdas I'm on battlefield 32 or something, though that high number is good because earlier on I feared the game would only have 30 battlefields before the end of the game. Hopefully there are going to be, like, 50. OR MORE PLZ. But I'm 15-16 hours into the game, and the average GBA RPG is 20 hours... Yggdra Union is above average though. Right? RIGHT?! ..."OTZ
