I feel incredibly stupid. I've been trying to customize the layout for one of my communities here at DW but it's just SO difficult! I'm supposed to understand these things. I've made tons of layouts in LJ so why is this so hard for me to understand? bah!

It doesn't help that I'm too lazy to look up any help for this. I've tried searching for some help communities but all I've found is dw_styles and that's not been helpful at all.

I've managed to do little changes but not enough. The CSS is just so different than from LJ. Or maybe I'm just monumentally stupid! This frustrates me. I want cool layout for my communities. Get them started and get people to start posting in them. First on my list is to get twilight up and ready. I even have a banner for the layout ready! But I can't figure out how to make the layout narrower and centered so that it goes below the banner.

Why am I so LAZY?!

Could this be the fresh start that I really need? Start all over without any baggage? I'm thinking about making this a 100% fanish journal. No RL emo drama :P

Yeah, cause that's not confusing? I'm also going to have some problem right away with saying Dreamwidth and not Dreamhost, since I'm more familiar with using Dreamhost and talking about Dreamhost since I've been using that for years now.
