Christmas Fun!

I have been quite the slacker on my christmas shopping this year, but I was NOT a slacker with our Christmas tree! Poor Carl was forced to put our tree up the week before Thanksgiving...and I LOVE it! I LOVE Christmas! I Love the decorations, the music, the shopping, the giving, the family time, the food, the parties ...everything! I always say that Christmas is magical. I know that sounds cheesy, but I really think it is!haha I love that my kids are getting a little older so they understand what is going on a little more. I had to take pictures of them by the tree, even though they were dressed as pirates in some of them!







I also got the chance to get together with my friends from up north this week too, for a little Christmas party!! I LOOOOVVVEEE seeing all of them so much! I didn't get to see Desi or Brittin, but hopefully I will when I go up north again! We had dinner at Los Hermanos, and then we went to Michelle's for dessert and a little gift exchange! It was so much fun...three hours was just not long enough at all!

November!

November was quite a crazy month for us....so crazy that I am not blogging about it until the middle of DECEMBER!! Time just flies by! Our Thanksgiving was great. We had a wonderful weekend spent with our families! We started out our weekend by helping my parents with the remodel of their home. The girls just watched...and the guys worked!! Carl helped my dad tile....so ofcourse McKay had to help also!!





We had our Thanksgiving feast at Kieth and Hariella's house with the ENTIRE family except for Kieth's oldest son Chris and his family, but the rest of the the ten kids, and their families were there!! It was so much fun! We ate and ate and ate, and we also had our Christmas party since they would not be here for Christmas! We did a white elephant gift exchange, and we brought two "snuggies" for our gifts! Nate got the hot pink one and he looked pretty good in it!haha





Kieth and Hariella's farewell(they are going to Honolulu, Hawaii to serve a mission) was on Sunday. They both did such a wonderful job! They had asked all of the family to sing, "I Love to See the Temple" and "Love is Spoken Here". The kids sang first, and McKay sang the whole song. It was really cute to hear all the kids sing...it was quite an emotional moment! Then the adults started to sing. Well...Carl and McKay were right by the microphone and McKay just started belting out his own little song! It went something like this..."Raaaraaa Raa RAA raaa...lalala"!! It was so funny....everyone went from crying to laughing! He got a lot of compliments afterwards!! We had a big dinner after sacrament meeting, and then it was time to say goodbye for 18monthes! I know it is going to go fast, but it sure is strange to know they won't be around for Christmas and things. They are both great examples. They will be amazing missionaries!!

Trick or Treat

Halloween was great this year! McKay was a pirate, and Ella was a little Fairy! We got the kids ready and headed out to get some candy!! We made it around two cul de sac's and then my kids were ready to go home!! haha They looked really cute though, so the half hour of trick or treating was worth it!!

I didn't get any really great pictures. Every time I told McKay to look at the camera he would say.."RRRR, I'm a Pirate!"

While we were out and about we ran into the Lyman Fam! McKay was scared when he first saw the boys. If you look closely, you can see him looking at Luke, crying!! haha

Sunni took Luke's mask off so that Mac could see him, and then everything was fine! It was funny!

After we got home, they were both ready for some juice,


and ready to get their costumes off!!

Girls Weekend!!

Last weekend, I was able to have a little get a way with some of my friends!! We decided to head to Vegas! Marci drove from Pheonix, and the rest of the gals came from SLC! It was SO MUCH FUN!! We left St. George around 5:00pm on Friday, checked into the Southpoint Hotel and then met up with Marci! We did what everyone does in Vegas....we went to a MOVIE!! haha We were laughing because....who goes to a movie when they are in VEGAS!!haha On Saturday we went to my favorite store ever, Rhapsidelle! We all went on a little shopping spree, and it was great! We went to Phantom of the Opera later that night, and then to the Cheesecake Factory! We had a lot of fun laughing, and talking and catching up!






I love all those gals so much! Thanks for a great weekend!

Anniversary,Carving Pumpkins & Staheli Farms

We have had a lot going on this month....and I have turned into a blog SLACKER!! So.. sorry..I have to catch up!!
To start it all off... Carl & I had our 5 year Anniversary! We went to Park City for a couple days...without the kiddos!! Our parents were so great and helped us out, so we could have a little getaway!! We actually stayed in the same place that we stayed on our wedding night. We shopped, ate, went to a movie and SLEPT!! We took a two hour nap on Thursday...went to bed around 10:30pm and woke up at 9:30am on Friday! It was so great!! I only took one picture the whole time...But it is a cute one!!

I don't know how I got so lucky to marry such a good man....but I am so glad I did! Carl is the best. I know I say that a lot...but really, he is. He made our anniversary the best! He wrote me a poem about the last five years, and that has got to be the best gift he has ever given me! (Sorry if this is cheesy!haha) I LOVE him so so so much!

We have had a lot of fun partaking in the Halloween festivities too! We had a little pumpkin carving party at my house with the Lyman's and the Spencer's last week! The guys pretty much carved the pumpkins, but it was fun for all of us to get together! The kids have so much fun playing!





We also took a little trip to Staheli Farms! The kids had so much fun looking at the animals and playing on the little rides that were there. Sunni & I went on the train thing, but we didn't get any pictures of that!! That would have been something to see!haha





Gotta love Fall!!
