Architecture and art
The shape of the Collegium Da Vinci building refers to the redoubt of Fort St. Adalbert, inspired by the historical fortifications of Poznan. The historical character is combined here with modern facades, spacious interiors, large amounts of glazing, and a functional layout. Every architectural detail has been carefully designed to create a place conducive to learning, creativity, and collaboration.
While being in the university, you can feel like you are in an art gallery. The interiors of Collegium Da Vinci are filled with numerous paintings, frescoes, sculptures, installations, and other artistic objects by famous contemporary artists, and the walls are covered with graffiti created by students. There are works by Magdalena Abakanowicz, Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Nowosielski, Leon Tarasewicz, Stefan Gierowski, Edward Łazikowski, Wacław Taranczewski, and many other outstanding artists. The art collection of Collegium Da Vinci includes several dozen unique works of art and could compete with many contemporary galleries.
