serendipitous at best, coincidental at least
answers to hypothetical scenarios
get a chance to play when inadvertedly posed
as if mere nursing
never concrete
only the feeling, without shell or container
the sweetest sounds
inside, protected, no duties
dry and placid
sudden downpour
waiting for an encore
as it lingers
dripping off the (correct) side of the slate
rolling, bringing down dust and grime
rebound sounds mimic a sizzling frying pan
never unwelcome, sometimes predictable
eager to leave as quick as you come
