Granting
Granting Process

At Chamandy Foundation, we are committed to supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, youth, and families. Our grantmaking process is designed to identify and partner with impactful initiatives that align with our mission and values.
We believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with our grantees, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to create lasting change. Through a thoughtful and transparent selection process, we work to fund innovative programs that drive positive outcomes in our communities.
To get started, learn more about our minimum eligibility requirements, consult our Info-Sheet, our preparation guide with questions from the form and watch our video to help you prepare for our next Call for Proposals.
- Benefit children and/or youth ages 0 to 35 years old
- Have a clearly defined organizational mission and grant application purpose
- Have a demonstrated ability to serve children and youth from underpriviledged communities
- Possess financial transparency, with the requirement of sharing financial reports
- Be based in Canada. (*We are not currently funding organizations based and working exclusively within Ontario and British Columbia, with the exception of organizations by and for Indigenous populations whose traditional lands fall within the colonial borders of these two provinces.)
- Must be an established organization for 2 years
Step 01
You are invited to fill in the online form (available during the Call for Proposals period) to tell us about your organization and the project you wish to be funded.
Step 02
After submitting your application, our team will contact you to confirm if your project aligns with our mission. If selected, we’ll begin a due diligence process (up to four months), followed by an in-person or virtual meeting.
Step 03
If you proceed to the next step, you will be invited to submit a formal grant application.
Step 04
Our grant management team carefully reviews all applications before presenting them to our board of directors for approval. Once finalized, you will receive an email with the decision along with a formal letter from our team.
