Every year, the GOP chips away at the freedoms of the LGBTQ+ community with their “Slate of Hate,” a deluge of discriminatory and anti-American bills. Instead of focusing on skyrocketing housing prices, shrinking wages, and the laundry list of other issues, the supermajority continues to invest their energy in attacking the most vulnerable Tennesseans. Tennessee should be a home to everyone, not just those who agree with the supermajority.

The current legislators in power have always depended upon the working class being exploited, overworked, and too tired to become involved in advocating for our life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We understand that since 2016, it’s been an absolute dumpster fire and it’s hard to feel as if things can get better. The thing is, there are more working class folks than there are the 1%…. That’s why they’re called the 1%. Our votes outnumber their dollars, so let’s do what they don’t want us to do, VOTE.
