SERIES: Jennifer's Body
CANON POINT: Post-film.
AGE: 18
APPEARANCE: Yeah.PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY: N/A
PERSONALITY: Once, and not very long ago, Jennifer was a senior in high school in smalltown Devil's Kettle, and a completely ordinary (if not very pleasant) teenage girl. She's a former girl scout; she's a flag girl; she's into fashion, nail polish, hipster bands, and indie music. Like most teenaged girls, she tries to assert her individuality, with the Fallout Boy collage she has glued over her bed and by inventing her own slang—like, attractive men are "salty", when she's talking to her best friend Needy—but she also knows what people think of her. According to the general high school population, Jennifer's the stereotypical dumb, pretty, popular girl. It doesn't bother her, and even if it did there's nothing she can do about it. Most of the time, she'd use those words to describe herself.
But despite her good looks and apparent popularity, she doesn't appear to have many friends. She only ever seems to hang out with Needy, who's her best friend from childhood, which is a friendship that apparently confuses people, since Needy is a dorky and unassuming girl, in sharp contrast to Jennifer. Jennifer is, in fact, fairly demanding on Needy's time and energy—leading Needy's boyfriend Chip to protest, "Stop kidnapping my girlfriend!" Though Needy and Jennifer appear to be genuinely fond of each other (they hold hands at concerts), but their relationship is also full of oneupmanship and manipulation, almost all of it coming from Jennifer's end. She's (ironically) very needy, wanting constant confirmation of their status as best friends for life. Her made up slang serves this purpose, since it becomes almost a language of their own.
Jennifer is also constantly orbited by men—her peers, or older—who want to get her into bed, and she's willing to play with them right back, often aggressively pursuing them. She doesn't ever seem to like her conquests as people; she's scornful behind their backs, and often to their faces, too. Not that it matters. They aren't interested in her as a person, either, and their attitude doesn't change Nobody ever really asks for her opinions or serious thoughts about things, but when she gives them anyway she expresses a very deep seated cynicism about them. According to her, they're easily manipulated, easily distracted by tits and ass, they "run the media" in order to "make us look crazy." Her experiences, apparently, give her no reason to think differently.
This was, of course, all before she was murdered.
Jennifer was killed in a satanic ritual, by members of Low Shoulder, one of the indie bands she followed. They believed (correctly) that completing the ritual would grant them fame and fortune. Unfortunately, the ritual also required a virgin, which Jennifer was definitely not. (Not even a backdoor virgin...) Low Shoulder still got their payoff, but this little hiccup left Jennifer with a major case of demonic possession. She now has the powers of the demon possessing her, and she has its appetite as well: so long as she kept killing and eating, she would stay strong.
It says a lot that nobody really noticed the difference.
ABILITIES: Jennifer is a human girl suffering from an acute case of demonic possession. This allows her to heal quickly, it makes her stronger and faster than a normal human—she can rip a person apart with her hands—and she has a limited ability to levitate. She's also compelled to kill and eat human beings, and doing so increases her powers. On the other hand, if it's been more than a month since she's fed her powers drop dramatically, and she starts to look sick and weak. She
is weaker, in this state, but still stronger than an ordinary human.
She isn't game breakingly powerful but if these powers need to be toned down I AM WILLING.
POSSESSIONS: An ordinary set of clothing, and a kitchy BFF necklace.

Jaws, or something. I probably shouldn't go skinny dipping, right? 'Cause the
last thing I want is some of
these things—
[ She holds up one of the parasites between her fingers, unconcerned with the danger. ] —stuck to my snatch. I'd be fun at first, but...
[ The thing succeeds at latching onto her palm, and Jennifer just looks down at it, expressionlessly. Then she looks up. ] So can I get a rescue or what?
[ She grins predatorily at the camera. ]What? I don't bite.
