In a nutshell..

So..its been forever since my last post so I decided I better write something for too much more time goes by..
Heres what my life in a nutshell has been..

Work: I'm still LOVING my job! I LOVE the people I work with (most of them anyway lol)! My schedule has been Sat-Wed with Thurs and Fri off, but will soon be changing to Sun, Mon, Tues off and I CANT WAIT! This week is my last week on this schedule, coming up i'll have Thurs, Fri, Sat(my bday), Sun, AND Mon off! (I'm switching Sat and Tues with an AWESOME co-worker so I can have my bday off!) But work overall is going awesome! I've made great friends working here! As much as I'd love to learn how to ride, I dont think I ever will...I've heard so many scary stories about people getting hit. Infact, today when I got to work the first thing I do is check the receptionists email..and in it was an email from our finance manager saying that one of our salesmen was hit last night on his way home from work. A car pulled out in front of him and he had nowhere to go. He is currently in the hospital with a broken collarbone, 4 broken ribs, collapsed lung and bad road rash...but is still alive! He was VERY lucky! My heart and prayers go out to him and his family and hopefully he has a speedy recovery! Drivers: PLEASE be extra cautious and aware of riders! They cant stop, or swerve as fast as you can in a car..and if hit, they dont have a shell of protection around them. I've seen SOO many careless drivers pull out in front of bikers, cut them off, or ride SO close to them. PLEASE be extra aware and give them more room than you would a car!

Church: It's been 22 Sundays (including today) since I've been to church...Ohhhh how I've missed it! Its crazy how much of a difference i've noticed in myself not being able to go because of work. I can't wait to finally have Sundays off again and go back to church!

Social: I've had more of a social life these past few days..been so much fun! Hanging out with co-workers and new friends = good times! I'm so exicited for my extra long weekend coming up! Its going to be full of fun times! Friday is my family b-day dinner, Saturday is a joint b-day party for me and my buddy Scott(his bday is Sunday) and Sunday is Scotts b-day and Paul & Nolas shindig for they're farewell! Party Party Party!

Home: A few months back I picked up a roommate! Her name is Erin, shes 28 and has 2 cats. She found me on Craigslist from an add I posted. (Shes not a member)
Her cats are TERRIFIED of me...well, of people in general..they stay in her room, under her dresser. I will (hopefully) be moving in the next month or so (Erin said she'd move with me)...and when/if I do, I'm going to try to get another roommate which will help me a TON! I hope moving happens sooner than later!

Love: I've been single since the end of June, and have been loving it for the most part. After this last relationship i'm going about things way differently. I'm tired of having my heart broken and being lied to and cheated on...not fun! So..i've pretty much decided that i'm not persuing any guy and if a guy wants to date me bad enough he'll make it known. We'll see how that goes...as of right now I have no prospects..just friends..but you can never have too many friends..right?

Car: For those that dont know..I sold my Yukon a few months back and bought me a cute little black Jetta! I loooove it! And I LOOOOOVE the cost of gas so much more! There are a few things I miss about having a big car..but the $ I save in gas makes up for it! I'm paying less than half of what I was each time I fill up! Annnd I can go a little bit longer between fillups too! Win Win!

Well thats about it for now..I'll try to be better about posting..although I've said that many times before haha!

I know there have been a few more but I cant seem to remember them....it makes me laugh. Its also fun to hear my name said in so many different accents! Working here has been so much fun sofar! Never a dull moment! And the people I work with are awesome! I feel like I fit right in!..Hopefully they decide to keep me ( every new employee has a 90 day "probation" period where they can decide if they want to keep you or not )
I love my job!...and I'll love it even more when I get my first paycheck! :)

So..lots and lots has happend..lots of downs, lots of ups...but lets focus on the ups! I applied for a receptionist position at Las Vegas Harley Davidson a little over a week ago, had my interviews, found out over 200 people applied for the same position...AND I GOT THE JOB!!! I LOOOOVE my job and everyone I work with is really nice (so far haha!) But I think im really going to like working there! Everyday has been so fun! Full of seeing and talking to lots of interesting people and also talking to really funny and awesome people I work with! Our store is off of Eastern and Sahara so we get TONS of tourists that come in...foreign people are strange..and pretty funny! I cant wait until Bikefest and get to see lots of biker "gangs" come in! I've heard some pretty freakin awesome/funny stories about some of the bikers! I've only been working since Saturday but already im having such a blast! The salesmen are already giving me a hard time (teasing) but dont worry..I dish it right back! And i've been told by a few people that I fit right in with everyone! Woohoo!! :) Work life has improved a bazillion percent since starting this job! I cant wait until my 90 days are up and I can (possibly) get a raise..and my benefits kick in...and am able to receive bonuses (which I hear happen quite often! WOOHOO!)!

OH..ANNNND I get a SAAWEEET discount on everything! I basically get everything in the store at COST! HOLLA! Too bad my mom told me she'd kill me if I ever get a bike..(we'll see how long that lasts haha!)

The little things...

People say that its " the little things in life that counts"..and I couldnt agree more! I have and always will LOVE the little things..especially in relationships. They mean more to me than anyone will ever know! I have always been one to write little notes, or send texts, or any little thing that I think will bring a smile to my certain someones face. I LOVE making people happy, especially those which I care most about. But sometimes..ok, quite often, I forget to do "the little things" for who should be one of the most important people in my life....ME!....I should really focus more on what makes me happy, and do the little things that I enjoy more often. In thinking about things today I thought of how life is so short...and how it can all be over in the blink of an eye..far too short to spend time being sad and crying. So...wish me luck in trying to do more to make me happy...I always tend to put the needs of others in front of my own..and I cant let that happen quite so much. So heres to me..hip hip hooray!

Everyone has heard the saying "Expect the unexpected!" ...and for quite a while that seemed to be the story of my life! I went from being "happily"married, to my whole world turning upside down and inside out on me, to getting a divorce, to losing myself, to finding myself and being ok, to having my heart broken by a few boys, to now being in a relationship with an absolutely amazing man who makes me feel unlike anything i've ever felt before! Its funny looking back at how i've felt with the other guys in my past...and those feelings dont even come CLOSE to how I feel now. Its crazy how my life has changed. Things are put in a whole new light for me. Things that seemed so important to me before arent so important now. And I find myself wanting certain things more than ever! I am a completely different person than I was a year ago...I am a BETTER person now! I feel so blessed to have such a great man in my life right now! He is in California now visiting his family and is able to have his girls there with him too! He took them to Disneyland today and im sure they had a blast! I miss him like crazy though! I'm so excited for him to be in Vegas now (not literally now...lol...he gets back from Cali on Friday)! Im so excited for him to be closer to his girls first and foremost, and of course i'm so excited for him to be closer to me!! I do NOT handle long distance well! I cant wait for everyone to meet him! He is seriously so amazing! I havent been lucky enough to meet his girls yet, but that will happen in time, and I am so excited for that to happen! From what I hear about them they are just as amazing as their father!

Looking back at my life, I wouldnt change one thing. I am grateful for all my trials and hard times because they have made me a better person and led me to meet an amazing man! Life isnt the easiest right now, but its good! ♥
