BATMAN!!!!!!, and I just read that Anthony Michael Hall will be joining Christian Bale in the new “Dark Night” movie. It took me a while to warm up to the idea, but now i’m quite liking it. I loved all of his 80’s movies, and one of my favs is “The Breakfast Club”, so I really don’t have any complaints. I don’t think it’s been revealed what character he is exactly. I can’t wait for this movie to come out and now i’m actually even more excited to see Anthony Michael Hall in it. It could have been alot worse. They could have gotten Corey Feldman.
I know we are a bit camera happy, but it IS his first time. What a face he’s making when we are giving him the cereal. If he only knew the wonderful joys of eating! I certainly do. Soon enough I say, soon enough. He didn’t make as big of a mess as I expected, but it’s not like he has a whole lot of hair or anything to smear it in. He is sitting up better now, and Jeff wants me to add that he’s saying “Da Da”. He’s also saying rarara, bababa, and zazaza. Think what you will…Our kid is smart!

So, now that I have my own blog, I decided to Google myself and see what I found. (Don’t judge me, I know you’ve all done it too!) I found the usual; myspace stuff, college degree pages, public listings etc. But to my surprise, I found another Chemenn. Of course I don’t know anything about her, but I say that’s good enough to start making personalized “Chemenn” keychains.
Cade’s Cove
Here we are at Cade’s Cove in the Smoky Mountains. It was beautiful and I highly recommend this drive. If you’ve ever seen the movie Cold Mountain, that is what it was like. So much history. As far away as it seemed, we ran into some friends from Winchester, KY. What a small world we live in.

Here we are in Gatlinburg. We had so much fun. We couldn’t do a whole lot with a baby taking three naps a day still, but it was well worth it. It was good enough for us! We went into Gatlinburg and got our Old Time Photos, walked the streets, took tons of pictures, shopped and ate tons and tons of candy!

Part I: Hanging Out at the Cabin
This is the cabin we rented while at Gatlinburg from August 21-23. This was the first time the place was better than the picture! We loved it. It was a lot nicer than our own house. It even had central air, jacuzzi & a hot tub! Not that we used it, not when it’s 100 degrees outside. If anyone is planning a trip to the Smokies, we would highly recommend these cabins. Here is the one we stayed in. Let us know….we’ll come too.
