Blasucci Update

Image

Image

So this isn't the best quality picture since it was just taken by my phone, but I love these two! It is so fun to see them interact with each other. They really do love each other so much. Bronx loves to annoy Benson from time to time, but mostly loves to share kisses and hugs and always reminds me that Benson is so cute. Tonight Benson started crawling forward which was really exciting, but sad at the same time. I love the baby stage and this just means that is all over and time to move forward. Bronx is potty training right now which I never knew would be so much fun. LOL! He pooped on our living room rug today and poor Maggie was here and had to deal with that. She's so great! It didn't even phase her. She encouraged me to keep trying and to not give up, so we will see. Life is good and could have a lot of changes in the near future so I am taking one day at a time right now. My family is healthy and happy so I feel blessed.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Image

So Bronx is in love with Toy Story so we decided to go with that for our costumes this year. Bronx thought it was the coolest thing ever seeing mom as Jessie and dad as Woody. He kept saying, "Come on Jessie mom." I loved seeing how happy it made him to see us as his "friends". On Halloween night, Chet and I didn't dress up and he was extremely dissapointed. He kept saying, "K mom, go get Jessie." It was really funny. I was never a big Halloween fan, but I have to say that the boys make it so much fun. I loved watching Bronx trick or treat and really studying everything around him. I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

St. George

Bronx just loves the water and is so comfortable just doing his thing. He decided he didn't want his arm floaties anymore, so I have actually decided that he is ready for swim lessons.

Some of us out for pizza. Doesn't Bronx look all grown up? I love this little man! He has been so cuddly with me lately and I am just eating it up. I don't know if he is sensing the big change or what it is, but I am enjoying it.

While the boys and the girls without kids were out shooting, we took the cute babies for a fun little stroll. This picture shows my big belly. I am definitely getting ready to have this sweet little boy. I am getting really nervous about having two boys, but I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore. This pregnancy has been much harder for me. I haven't been too active because I can't do too much without starting to cramp. It has been really frustrating. Anyways we had a fabulous getaway and it was so nice just spending time with each other and our friends. Thanks Dan and Marianne!

MY LITTLE TOUGH BOY

Image
Image

Image
I received the scariest call on Friday, my nanny telling me that Bronx had fallen and cut his head open. I immediately started crying and thinking the worst. I was so sad that he was in pain. And also, I am the girl that hates scars so BAD, and now my beautiful little boy was going to have a big scar on his face. I called my neighbor and had her run over. She called and said that it was definitely going to need stitches. (Thanks Ashley! You seriously helped so much and are so wonderful!) I then made a quick call to my pediatrician that recommended Primary Children's where it was his face. Luckily, I was not too far from home that day and I got there in less than fifteen minutes. When I got home, Bronx wasn't even crying. He just gave me a big hug. Sweet boy! As you can see from the picture, the cut was deep and wide. He ended up with three stitches underneath and seven on top. Chet was in Chicago for work, so I had to play tough mom all alone. Kristine was there with me so that helped a lot. Bronx was really funny on the meds. He talks all the time anyways and with the help of the meds he entertained everyone. I am just so happy that he is okay and pray that will be our last visit to the ER. (At least for awhile!)

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, and Yoda
Doesn't Bronx make the cutest Yoda you have ever seen? I decided to make Chet's dreams come true this year. For all of those who know Chet, know that he is a Star Wars nerd! We had Bronx's Yoda costume and then I made the other two costumes. (With the help of my friend Karli)

Bronx's New Ride

Image
Image
Ever since I went back to work full time, I have not been good at keeping this blog updated. But our friend took these the other night and emailed them to me so I thought I would share. Bronx was loving this convertible, and he was so proud that he figured out how to get the keys out of the ignition. Him and his cousin Nixon were ready to hit the town. I have some really cute pictures I need to post of his first birthday, so I will post again soon. (Do you like our dirt lawn? We just ripped out all of our grass.)

BABY BRONX

As you can see, Bronx is getting bigger. The top picture is a picture I took on his five month birthday. The second picture is him trying rice cereal for the first time on Thanksgiving. The last picture is his "First Christmas" jammies that Grandma Blasucci sent him. And yes he is now sitting up all by himself. It has been an interesting month, but Bronx has kept it exciting with a bunch of new sounds and actions.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the TURKEYMAN!

Image
Image
Turkey Man just wanted to tell all of our friends and family "Happy Thanksgiving"! Ever since Bronx was a baby, Chet has called him Turkey Man. So I decided that he needed a turkey shirt, and I made this for him. Doesn't he look cute?! Life is really CRAZY right now, but we have a lot to be thankful for so I am trying to stay positive. I am grateful every day for our families and friends that love and support us. I hope that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with those you love.

We blessed Bronx almost two months ago, but I have been slow at getting these picture posted. We had a lot of family travel here for his big day. Chet gave him a beautiful blessing and the day was wonderful. Thanks so much for those that traveled and for those that came and supported our family. We love you!
