Hello!
Long time no update as usual, but while waiting for a computer to finish up some rendering I find myself with a free moment to type 'livejournal.com'. And then a username, and a password. And these kind words.
My class was cancelled this semester, because only 3 people signed up for it. As a result, I have once again returned to the bowling music industry, this time I'm working at a competitor of a previous employer, putting overlays with artist/track title on music videos. If you want to hear the service, head on over to Superior Bowladrome! hah
I got offered a new class, Introduction to PC's, which I accepted, along with 'Build a PC in a Day'. So I'm going to be pretty busy at the end of this month.
The day job is going good as usual. It's gets kind of stressful at times, but I'm dealing with it. A regular work day seems to go by really fast when you're trying to do a million things at a time. It's just hard to clear my head after a day like that, though. I think I need to become an alcoholic.
Speaking of excessive drinking, I'm hoping to drive to Thunder Bay the week of July 17th. Anybody interested in hitching a ride should give me a holla.
I'm moving this Saturday. It's just down the street, but I'm going to have 2 less roomates and a lot more room. It's another townhouse, but nicer.
I bought
this (Creative Zen Vision:M) the other day. If anybody is in the market for an mp3/video player, THIS is what you need. Unlike the video ipod, you don't have to convert most content to play it. This thing plays xivd and divx encoded video, has tv-out, and syncs with outlook. PLUS you don't have to use shitty itunes! You actually don't even have to use software with it at all. XP is all like 'hey this thing is cool, let me let you browse the files and copy shit to it in windows explorer, ok?' It's probably the most useful thing I've bought myself in a very long time.
Till next time
