Richard Benesti
Co-Founder and CEO
Richard is a serial founder. And now, after running his own IT services company for 15 years, Richard is CEO and co-founder of Ciloo, aiming to disrupt how large enterprises are handling internal e-commerce.
In addition to 3 other startups, Richard has held management positions at Helloprint, a European on-demand player in the SMB market, and NLEnergie, a Dutch energy startup that was acquired by Waterland.
Richard leverages his experience and entrepreneurial spirit to spearhead the development of cutting-edge e-commerce solutions for global enterprises. His passion for delivering innovative technology, combined with his strategic vision, has positioned Ciloo as a leader in the industry for internal eCommerce.
Christian Sæterhaug
Co-Founder and CRO
Christian is the CRO and co-founder of Ciloo. Previously at Gelato, backed by investors such as Insight Partners, Dawn Capital, and Softbank, he was part of the company’s global expansion and growth into a unicorn company. During his time in Gelato, Christian spent 3 years in the US, establishing Gelato’s first office in the US. He has previously been CMO for EasyPark Group, a VC-backed mobile payment company, and worked at Tele2, one of Europe’s largest telcos.
Christian holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Norway.

StartupLab is Norway’s leading tech incubator and pre-seed investor, backing ambitious founders from “first line of code” to international scale-up. Operating large co-working labs in Oslo and Bergen, StartupLab pairs capital from its Startuplab Ventures funds with hands-on product coaching, hardware prototyping facilities and a network of 30+ corporate partners. Since 2012 the team has helped launch and fund more than 350 Norwegian deep-tech and SaaS companies, including success stories such as Disruptive Technologies, Ardoq and Kahoot, with a focus on solutions that deliver lasting positive impact in industry and society.
Gisle Østereng
Head of Investments
During more than 15 years as a deep‑tech entrepreneur and investor, Gisle Østereng has built and financed ventures across software, mining technology, materials and medtech. Today Gisle is Head of Investments at Startuplab Ventures, leading pre‑seed investments and portfolio support for Norway’s most ambitious tech founders.
Gisle holds a degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management (NTNU), and also studies at the University of Cambridge.
Anders Storeng
Investor and Advisor
Anders Storeng is Partner at the Norwegian law firm Berngaard AS. His expertise is in M&A.
Before transitioning into the law, he worked on the business side in companies such as McKinsey, Orkla and Rieber.
Anders obtained his Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Oslo, and a Master in Business and Economics from Norwegian Business School (BI).
Trond Riiber Knudsen
Investor and Advisor
During his 23-year tenure at McKinsey, Trond served as a senior partner with responsibility for the marketing and sales practice. Subsequently, he founded TRK Group, focusing on propelling early-stage tech companies with global ambitions. TRK’s portfolio includes over 100 ventures, particularly in disruptive technologies, digital services, and marketplaces.
Trond holds an engineering degree from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
Andreas Sjölund
Investor and Advisor
Andreas is the Co-Founder and former CRO of Quinyx where he led the company’s international expansion. He is currently CRO at Ingrid.com. Andreas is a Board Member at MIXMOVE, a logistics optimization platform, and has held the role of Senior Advisory Consultant at Appfarm, a leading mobile app development platform. He was selected as Top 40 CROs to watch by Pavilion.
Andreas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics with a focus on international business from both the Norwegian School of Economics and Uppsala University. In January 2024, he joined Ciloo as investor and advisor, demonstrating his continued commitment to empowering businesses and creating a positive impact.
Christian Paulsboe
Investor and Advisor
Christian held the role of VP of Operations and was one of the first employees at Gelato, the world’s largest network for local production and distribution of customized products in the creator economy.
Christian has vast experience from project & product management. He is currently doing consulting projects for different companies, and also serves as an Executive in Residence at Startuplab, Norway’s largest technology startup incubator.
Christian holds an MBA from the Melbourne Business School and an Executive Master of Management exploring Green Growth as Competitive Advantage from the BI Norwegian Business School.
Magnus Gaarder
Investor and Advisor
As the Founding Partner of nFront Ventures, Magnus brings operational support and capital to companies across various stages of development. nFront’s focus is on game-changing, capital efficient, software propositions based in Europe or the U.S. Prior to nFront, Magnus was an Investment Manager at VC fund Nauta Capital in London, and an early team member at M&A boutique Portico Capital’s European arm. He started his career as an M&A-focused investment banker in New York.
Magnus graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Engineering, specialized in Computer Science and Finance, and holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Petter Skulstad
Investor and Advisor
Petter founded Dealflow, a crowdsourcing platform, and Adminflow. Petter is living in Boston, USA, operating as an investor and advisor for several companies. He is also the Chairman of the Board at Adminflow.
Petter holds multiple degrees in business and economics, including a Bachelor’s and Master’s from Copenhagen Business School, with an additional Master’s from Tongji University. He has also completed an MBA in Management Control from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
