I am a 50 something, empty nester, part-time computer teacher, knitter, quilter, photographer wanna-bee. I have been blogging for over 5 years and have met many wonderful people. I love Ravelry and the people I have met through there.
I am grandmother to 8! Four girls and four boys! Wish they weren’t so far away.

Yes, in this new photo where I have my hand under my chin. Not in the blue photo. The new photo was taken by Kerrie when we were having the ionic foot bath!

Thank you for visiting my blog and for commenting.
Don’t worry about not trusting your hand-applique! If there was anybody who was unable to take a first stitch (and not rip it out) it was me! I am forever reluctant to ‘stick my foot into the water’ but once I do, I find it’s not so bad after all.
So, come on in—the water’s fine! *grin*

Hi Cindratee,
Thanks for listing my blog in your Inspiration category. How flattering. While you are quite experienced with blogging I am just beginning to be consistent and devoted to freshness. Please visit often.
With Gratitude,

I tried to e-mail you but could not find your address. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I like your blog. I also like the way you have the ATWQB participants listed. Now all I have to do is come to your blog and go down through your list to see what everyone is doing. I can tell from your lovely pictures on your blog that you are south of Michigan. When my mom lived in Richmond she always said she was atleast 2 weeks ahead of me in the growing season.

I would like to have your pattern for the Polka Dot Parade baby blanket. I saw it on Ravelry and the link there is not working.
It is beautiful. What do you think of making it a scarf pattern?

I saw your polka dot baby blanket on Ravelry and flipped over it! It’s so beautiful! I don’t suppose you’d be willing to sell the pattern?

I saw your beautiful polka dot blanket on Ravelry. Could you possibly send me the PDF? I’m thinking of knitting it for my nephew Lincoln, due May 1st. Anyway, thanks for some great inspiration, your blog is amazing!
