
Cinebeats is the passion project of Kimberly Lindbergs, a writer and researcher currently living in Northern California. She also enjoys working as a volunteer researcher and archivist at local libraries and museums.
Her writing has been published in an eclectic mix of film and culture outlets, including Turner Classic Movies, FilmStruck, Cineaste, Fandor, Publishers Weekly, and Fashion Doll Quarterly. In addition, she has written essays for Blu-ray, DVD, and CD releases by companies such as Arrow Video, Cauldron Films, Second Sight Films, and Harkit Records.
Most recently, her essay on campus revolt films was included in Revolution in 35mm: Political Violence and Resistance in Cinema from the Arthouse to the Grindhouse, 1960–1990. This book of film essays was published by PM Press and examines the intersection of political movements and cinematic expression.
