Catch Up!!!

It has been FOREVER since I have blogged, since you can see.  I’m not even going to try to play catch up.  This past fall I started working full time so I don’t really have time to do much of anything extra. I’m teaching 3rd grade.  I HATE leaving my boys and it has been really hard, but  I think that we have all grown and learned from it.  Luckily, I have a great babysitter and my boys love going.  They have lots of fun playing with the other kids.  Even though things have been good and I like the job, I am definitely counting down the days to summer!!!  (37!!!)  Curtis just got on at the mine so, that’s been a good change for our family.  In October we moved in with my dad to save some money.  It was great living with him.  About 2 weeks ago we moved back to Moroni with my in-laws.  We are going to start building our house next month so Curtis wanted to be closer so he can work on the house every day.  I can’t wait to have our own place, but luckily we have great families that put up with us!

My little Boston is now 16 months old! I can’t believe how fast he has grown up.  He is such a little wild man. He started walking when he was barely 9 months old and he has not stopped since!  He climbs everything and is going about 90 miles an hour constantly, but he is so much fun.  He is such a happy kid, unless he isn’t getting what he wants.  He loves his big brother and is always giving him kisses. He is such a loving kid.  He will be playing and he will run over to give me a kiss and then go on his way.  He is also a huge daddies boy.  He loves animals!!! Especially cows and horses, which he calls moo’s!  He goes crazy anytime he see’s one or even a picture. He is a great kid and I don’t know what I would do without him! This is how Boston looked after he woke up from a nap.  He had some seriously crazy, long hair.  I didn’t want to cut his baby hair, but I finally gave in.

The end result!  He looks so dang cute!!! Even though I was a little attached to his hair, I’m glad we cut it.  I think that he and Jax look a lot more alike now.

My Jax is going to be 4 next month!  Really?  He should still be my baby!  He is so much fun.  He is still a mommas boy, but I’m not complaining.  He loves to cuddle, but only when he is tired or watching t.v.  He is a little goer too!  He loves riding his bike.  He will ride circles for hours in the drive way. He is still obsessed with Lightning McQueen.  He constantly has a car or five with him.  He also loves jumping on the tramp.  He got a puppy last year that he named Rio.  He is seriously the only one that can catch the dog.  He also loves animals.  He also started preschool in the fall and he loves going.  He goes three days a week, but he usually asks to go everyday.  He is a great big brother to Boston and he is so nice and patient with him, most of the time.  It makes me sad that he is getting so old, but he is so much fun to talk to.  He tells some pretty funny stories and he has a great imagination. 

 

Last week I had spring break and it was so nice to get to stay home with my boys all week. We went to the aquarium one day with my mom.  My boys loved it! We saw tons of cool animals.

 

 

We also went on lots of bike rides.  Boston loves riding in the trailer.  Jaxton would rather ride his own bike, but if we’re going very far from home he rides in the trailer. We also played at the park and had picnics.

My brother Blaine made the boys an airplane out of a box.  It’s amazing how entertaining cardboard can be. 

 

Last month we took the boys to Disney on Ice.  It was Toy Story 3.  It was so much fun.  We had never been before, but it is definitely something we will do again.

Mickey Mouse came out at the beginning and Jaxton was so excited!  You can tell by the look on his face.  He loves Mickey Mouse and he didn’t know that he would be there so he was thrilled.

 

As I mentioned before Jax loves riding his bike.  Well, Boston wants anything and everything that Jax has so we are always fighting over the bike.  Yesterday I decided to give Boston his Easter present a few days early.

Jax was filling a bit left out so I gave him his Easter preset early too.  Now all Boston wants is the scooter.  I can’t win.

Well, that’s about all we have been up to.  Hopefully its not another 10 months before my next post.

May was such a crazy month, but it was so much fun!!!

Jaxton’s favorite part was rolling down the hill after each picture and Curtis would have to run to the bottom and bring him back up!

Jaxton celebrated his 3rd birthday on the 9th! I can’t believe that my baby boy is 3!!!  He is such a blessing in our lives! He makes me so happy and he cracks me up with the funny things that he says!!!  We had a Mickey Mouse birthday party for him at my in-laws.  He had so much fun and he got spoiled rotten!

We took the boys to the zoo and the had so much fun.  Jax loved looking at all of the animals and Boston was content just hanging out!  The line for the train was super long so we didn’t ride it which bummed Jax out, but he still had a great time!

Curtis and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary on the 12th!!!  I can’t believe that we have already been married for four years.  Curtis is such a great husband and father and I feel so lucky to be married to my best friend!

My brother-in-law Colton got married on the 28th.  Yes I know, two weddings in one month, it was a bit crazy!!!

I’m going to try this blogging thing one more time and finally try to get caught up!

My brother Dylan got his mission call!!! He is going to Richmond Virginia and he leaves on July 20th!  I’m so excited for him and the great young man he has become!

  

Camping Easter Weekend in the hills

Boston loved playing in the dirt.  It’s funny how the more kids you have the easier going you get and the less you care about some things.  There’s no way I would have ever let Jaxton lay in the dirt and play when he was little, but I’ve come to learn that a little dirt never hurts and little boys are just attracted to it no matter how old they are!
