PreSchool

This Girl started PreSchool today - she has been so excited to go back to the same fun teachers she had last year

We started the morning with balloons and chocolate chip pancakes and then she was off.

 

 

 

i didn't even cry this time around.
but the house was really quiet with her gone all morning!

Conversations with Abigail

tonight Abbie was out swinging in the backyard with her friend Logan and i overheard this conversation:

Logan: "Abs how old are you?"
Abbie: "4 and a half."
L: "So am I and by the end of the year I will be 5."
A: "That's pretty neat."
L: "Ya, I'm growin' up."
A: "When I grow up I'm going to go to college AND kindergarten"
L: "I bet I will too."

these two have the cutest exchanges. 

Summer.

the summer has been keeping us busy - here's a bit of what we've been up to.
We celebrated Clark's 30th birthday with a surprise party.

Preschool & Training Wheels

This week was a big one for miss Abbie.
She finished up her first year of preschool. She has loved being in school. 
She met some darling friends and fell in love with her teachers.

She also cruises on her bicycle now without training wheels! We took them off Friday night and she hasn't stopped begging to ride it since.  She practiced on a balance bike and got the hang of it real quick.

Conversations with Abigail. (mama's day edition)

This morning after breakfast Abbie asked if i would clear her plate for her.  I told her yes, and this followed:
A: "because it's mother's day. and on mother's day mom's have to do whatever the kids tell them to."

later on she was upset with me and she said:
A:  "you make me mad mama, happy MAD mother's day"

she may not quite grasp the concept of Mother's Day, but i sure love being her and E's mama!
