So, here we are! A new year, full of many new possibilities! (Geez, that sounded cheesy as frick)

But jokes aside, I have lots of news I need to cover!

What I plan to do this year:

Seeing as I've hyped up my ambitions for 2026 as much as I have, it's only fair that I follow through! My main goal is to produce, complete, and finally POST my music! I will be purchasing a PC very soon, meaning that I will be able to work from home as well as at my school! (I figured I should just wait for the new year anyways, seeing as rushed music isn't really good imo).

But that's not all!!

Remember how on my first post I mentioned that I will likely be posting "dragon comic strips" at some point? I'm really gonna do it! But rather than only comic strips, I'm writing an entire graphic novel series about dragons! ...What is the name of it, you ask? The name of my super hyped book series!?

Its called The Spiral Realm, and it's based off of a fun theory that dragons are secretly hiding among humans! They would their own agendas, lifestyles, and even their own UNIVERSE that humans don't know about! This fantasy-sci-fi graphic novel series will have lots of fan favorite features, such as prophecies, elderly scrolls, unique characters, seemingly endless lore, comedy, and much more factors combined with original factors that dragon fans will LOVE! I won't be explaining everything about it on this post, but another one will proceed it at some point within the next week or so (hopefully) explaining the entire scoop! ...But what I WILL explain is what this has to do with my new wacky profile picture!

Pfp explanation

Before I joined newgrounds, I wanted to create my own persona for my newgrounds account, a "NEWsona," If you will. (..A combination of newgrounds and persona? ...no? 😭 Ok, moving on..) This was intended to be a clever way to introduce people to my account, focusing on how I display my creations. I figured I should do this ahead of time to help introduce people to my comic universe, but I didn't follow through with the idea because I couldn't think of the best approach to take. Besides, I don't want to be some boring guy whose only talents are doodling and making dopey music! I want to at least have a character to go with my name -and one that makes sense with my comic universe- , rather than an infinity symbol (although I still want to incorporate it onto my album covers)! For all of these reasons I am now "coming into character" to appropriately match my work. So from here on out:

I am a basilisk! There are a lot of different interpretations on what a basilisk is, but in my graphic novel stories so far, a basilisk is an extremely rare variant of dragon, only spoken of in prophecies! Basilisks in the Spiral Realm are told as venomous creatures that leave a trail of death behind them, and have eyes like bullets. (Don't worry tho, I'm a chill basilisk and I don't do killing. 😎) For the art itself, I wanted to go with a simple yet unique design, and a goofy (but secretly clever) personality to match my own. If all goes right, this will be a good way I can fit into my comic universe!

To follow this up, I will have an entirely separate post for people to ask questions about me or my universe!..at some point soon..
