Food Envy

Ever since Spencer could sit up he has had food envy. I tried to explain it to the Dr, but she didn't quite understand. He always wants what we are eating. We snapped these pictures to prove it. I was eating corn on the cob and Spencer really wanted it. Of course, I didn't let him have any, but he sure wanted it. I love the one with his tongue out. Such a silly, cute little boy!

Saying Goodbye...Again!

It was time to say goodbye...Again. It was a little harder this time since we don't know when we will see everyone again. Sometimes it is so hard to live so far away.

Sara was helping me take care of Spencer while I was packing. I think she was more interested in watching the TV than she was feeding Spencer. But, it appears that what was on the TV was mesmerizing!

Trying to get all five of these guys to look at the camera at the same time was proving to be impossible.

 Oh, well. I tried!

Thanks mom and dad for being such great hosts. We love and miss you!

Picnic in the Park

After the wedding was over and Kassi and Phil had left on their honeymoon, we were able to relax and spend some time together before we headed back to Kentucky. The girls really wanted to have a picnic at the park. We were glad that Casey and Kristin and the kids were able to join us. Rob had a great time taking pics with our anniversary present...A new camera. He caught some great ones.  I love this one of Sara. She is showing us her sweet side.

I think we caught Anna at a bad time.

It appears that I am tolerating my husband!

Wedding Day - The Reception

Kassi and Phil's reception was at Wadley Farms. So much has changed since Rob and I had our reception there 13 years ago. It is even more beautiful!

The reception started out with a ring ceremony for some of the family and friends that were not able to attend the temple ceremony. The girls were so excited to be Aunt Kassi's flower girls. My mom made them all "princess" dresses. She did an amazing job. I think she was sewing until about two o' clock the morning of the wedding.

 Exchanging rings...Kindof ;)

Sara had a great time in her princess dress. Everywhere we looked she was there twirling and dancing.

My cute girls...A little bored at this point.

I love my "little" sister. So happy for her!
Image
My bestie.  So grateful that she was there. She saved us! She ran and got ice and some of the stuff that we forgot at the house. I don't know what we would have done without her. Thank you...Thank you! Love you!
Image
Cutting the cake. It was beautiful!
Image
I still don't know who gave Sara this huge piece of cake at 8:00 at night! She was in heaven. Love her expression in this!

Two very tired little girls. They were troopers and didn't complain at all.

So, once again...Congrats Kassi and Phil! We love you and are so excited for you!

Wedding Day - The Temple

Kassi got married!!!! We are so excited for her and Phil and we are so glad that he is part of our family. I can honestly say that I have never seen her so happy as she is now.

She looked beautiful and she had perfect weather for her day.

I love this picture of her hugging our dad.
Image
All the little girls were so excited to see Kassi in her princess dress (which my mom made, btw..Isn't it amazing?!).
Image
Kassi and our sweet Grandma. Love these ladies!

 Cute parents.

Sibling love. Erin (Zach's wife) had a baby about two weeks before the wedding so they were not able to make it.

 Spencer loving Grandma.

Aunt Kassi and Uncle Phil with the nieces and nephews. Max didn't want to look at the camera...He was more mesmerized by the ants that he discovered.
Image
My bestie! One of the bonuses of coming out for the wedding was being able to hang out with Sheralyn. She was so great and sacrificed her Saturday by coming and watching my kids while we were in the temple. They had a great time with her. I sure love her!
Image
Anna and Sara loved having Grandpa and Grandma time.
Image

Image
While we were in the temple, Sheralyn took the kids over to the new City Creek mall, which is incredible. She snapped this picture of them hanging out on one of the statues.

Wedding Prep

We were able to make a quick trip to Utah for Kassi's wedding...Hooray! We were quickly put to work once we got out there, cutting all sorts of vegetables for the reception. The girls were great helps. They bagged the vegetables once we cut them.

Image
Spencer tolerated me being busy. I put him in the high chair with a bunch of snacks. He can't quite figure out how to get the food in his mouth yet. I had to snatch a picture when I saw it stuck to his face.

First Y Game!

Image
Had to document everyone in their BYU outfits. We were all decked out for the first game. And they won! Hooray!

Fringe!

Image
My MIL made Spencer this blanket that he absolutely loves. It has little tassels on the end that he is constantly sucking on. Rob calls it his fringe. I had to capture it. This face makes me smile..."Who, Me?"
Image

Goodbye Murphy!

Another one of our beloved Elders had to say goodbye. We really enjoyed having Elder Murphy in our home. He was hilarious but could always bring the spirit when needed.

I'm not sure why he is wearing Sara's unicorn puppet on his hand in this picture. That's just Murphy, I guess.
Image

Family Picture. Murphy plays football for the University of Utah (we still let him in our home, regardless) so we made sure that Anna wore her BYU hat in the picture with him.

Summer's Day

Rob finally had a Saturday where he didn't have school so he felt like he could be a fun dad. The girls took full advantage of it. Anna has been dying to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. And Sara just wanted to hang out with her dad.
I looked out the door and saw this. Apparently we have seen a couple of trucks stuck on the side of the freeway. Her car was "broken" and she had to fix it.
Image

Anna really did have an issue. Flat tire. Dad helped her fix hers.
Image
And then she was off. It only took a couple of times and then she grasped the concept and took off. She loves it and begs me to let her ride as soon as she gets off the bus.
Image
Love this face! She was tired.
Image
 So proud of herself!
