Whether you’re a beginner or expert developer you’ll join a team, brainstorm, learn, build a solution and pitch it to a panel of judges. Eligibility
- To register to Hackathon, you must apply online via the hackathon website.
- Attendees from all backgrounds, genders and geographies are welcome.
- Teams can consist of one member to a maximum of four members.
- Participants must be between the ages 13 to 29. In case you are under 18, you need a signed waiver from the parent/legal guardian authorizing you to attend the hackathon.
- Each Participant must supply his/her own laptop to participate. All costs and expenses are the sole responsibility of the Participants.
- The Event Organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the Hackathon or any related arrangements at any time and for any reason, in their sole discretion.
Requirements
- Projects must be submitted to DevPost by 7am.
- Pitch Decks and Source Code must be submitted to Nicholas at 6am.

Submission Requirements
- No development may start before the actual date and time of the event. Any teams that violate this rule will be automatically disqualified. The first line of code should be written on or after July 27th at 7 pm after the team has registered.
- Any software development tools, game engine, IDE, a programming language can be used for the event.
- To ensure a level field for all contestants, all code must be created only at the hackathon. You are permitted to use publicly developed API’s for your project. The use of any open source library in the development of the final solution must be no more than 1/3 of the codebase.

Did the group think about the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX)? How well designed is their demo? Did the project demonstrate at-least 1 functional feature? -
Creativity & Originality of Idea
Does the idea or project show creative thinking? Does it stand out from the crowd? Is your idea unique and original? Are there similar mechanics, methods or experiences already out there? -
Wow Factor & Demo
Was it fun, insightful or impactful on the judges? -
Clarity of the presentation
Did the teams pitch highlight the functions and proposed viability of the project ? -
Problem-Product Fit
Does the proposed hack actually address the problem highlighted by the team?
