Requirements

What to Build

At CodeCatalyst 2024, we encourage participants to build innovative solutions that align with the theme: Innovation for Social Good. Your project should aim to solve a real-world problem or address a social, environmental, or economic challenge using technology.

Here are some ideas to spark your creativity:

  • Sustainable Technologies: Build solutions focused on reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, or promoting sustainable living.
  • AI for Good: Create artificial intelligence tools for social impact, like healthcare applications, disaster relief systems, or educational platforms.
  • Digital Transformation: Develop tech solutions that help small businesses, NGOs, or communities adapt to the digital age.
  • Health & Well-being: Use technology to create platforms that promote mental health, wellness, or accessibility for people with disabilities.
  • Smart Cities & IoT: Design applications that use sensors and data to improve urban living, from traffic management to waste collection.
  • Blockchain for Transparency: Create blockchain-based applications that ensure transparency in supply chains, voting systems, or charitable donations.

While we encourage creativity, keep in mind that the solution must be practical and feasible within the timeframe of the event. Focus on building a working prototype or a minimum viable product (MVP) that demonstrates the potential impact of your idea.
