11 Years!

February 9, 2012 was our eleventh anniversary. It seems a little crazy. Randy and I were both reflecting back and were talking about all that we have been through together...the good and the bad. The awesome part about it all is that it happened together.  It is hard to believe it has been that long, yet at the same time I am starting to forget life before Rans. And, I really only have glimpses of memories of life before kids. We say all the time, "What did we do with ourselves?" I feel so blessed to have Randy. Every year that goes by makes it easier and easier to keep loving him.(Even in those, I am going to kill you right now moments.) I feel so lucky having my best friend for a husband....and he is easy on the eyes.

We didn't really get to celebrate this year because the kids were sick and we couldn't leave them. But, hopefully we can make up for that soon. We did get to go out to dinner as a family, which was nice and doesn't happen often. I think it has happened  like twice since we have had Cort. I am just grateful we got to spend it together.:)

Cortland's first haircut

Cort was getting a little shaggy on the sides and back so we decided to give him a little trim. He looks WAY better. I gave him the classic Dad and Jay haircut. (Since it is the only one I know how to do!) He didn't even cry and sat totally still. Maybe he could teach Jay a thing or two.

He actually now crawls all the time but this was just a few days ago when he was starting out. He is on the MOVE!

Cortland 8 Months

Wow, this kid is getting big. He now has one bottom tooth that pushed its way through. He is really fussy and is not liking it one bit. He is eating pretty much all baby food. He can sit by himself, but we are still working on the crawling part. He just learned to wave and it is about the cutest thing I have ever seen. He definitely knows his Mama and Dad and has stranger danger. He loves to coo and hear himself talk. He is so ticklish and his brother and sister can make him laugh the hardest!
