Look at my cousin at the very top of that tree like a Christmas angel. Scary! And she is 9.

One morning we got up and took the kids for a little hike. We headed up to Bridal Veil Falls. When we got out the kids we freezing and complaining. So, we decided to go up the canyon a little further and play at a park in the sun until it warmed up. The weather was perfect really. The kids played and discovered they loved climbing trees. Emily tried to escape at any chance she could. She would just start running and not look back. After it warmed up we headed back down to the falls. We hiked/walked a path to the water. When we got there the kids got to feed the fish. A nice man kept buying fish food for the kids to use. Lacey and I are a little more stingy with buying perks like feeding the fish, so it was nice of him. After that we headed down to Timpanogas park where the kids ran around, had a little water break and played some baseball. We didn't stay too long because we forgot the snacks at home and the kids were turning on us.

We went and met the Carpenters up the canyon for some smores. It was a perfectly cool chill temp for a fire. It was beautiful surroundings. We tried many different kinda smores with oreos, peanut butter cups and oatmeal cookies. So yum. I love this last pic of the Whitworths. It just so shows all of their personality's.Uncle Teddy told the kids story's and then spun them around until were sick. They loved every minute.

We took the kids to farm country and it was an even bigger hit than we thought. We saw the animals, fed the horses and even packed a picnic lunch. The kids had a blast riding in the wagon. Abby was the horse whisperer of the trip. The one drawback was that we had promised the kids they could ride the horses. It was like 146 degrees that day and we waited for what felt like 3 hours. It might have been closer to 98 degrees and and hour and a half. Same difference. After they got their 20 second pony ride we were done and we ALL need a nap. Jenny and Emily wouldn't ride the ponies because they were too scared. Jenny kept saying she didn't want them to pee and poop on her. I guess waiting in line watching them take care of their business traumatized her! It was fun and we were glad that Great Gram and Kelly and the kids could come along.
