10:30 am - Another Sunday a lot of newspapers
Well its the Sunday edition of my local newspapers which have a lot more employment oppurtunities in them then through the course of a regular week. Picked up the Monterey and San Jose edition. I figure San Jose might have some openings for a Computer Programer/Systems technician. I have tried the internet job boards like Monster and Dice, but I think once a job goes up on that the poster is inundated with 1000's of applications! They probably feed it through a scanner and just look for words like MCP, MCSE, CISCO and such from certifications that my resume is lacking. Its not lacking in the actual content and expierence category just in the certification category as I always believed certification was just a way to make more money for the company giving the certification. Most people I know with certifications wouldn't know what to do if the computer in front of them broke! But yet they are clammored after by many companies here locally.
Sending off resumes to all the ads now, probably hit the internet job board later as you may never know what happens.

09:33 pm - Time to move on to a new project
Oh well just got a second opinion on "Logzer" and it looks like it maybe a dead program. It seems I overlooked finding a stats program called analog that is already out and does everything that I wanted Logzer to do. Two weeks of work I am just going to throw down the drain. Maybe I can write an article on this for one of those code sites. I can't believe how everything is already written and everything it seems is just a learning expierence.
I think I am going to download the latest version of Torque and just play with that... Program ideas seem to be a dime a dozen or they are already written and the next best thing is just to add features. I am going back to the drawing board and concentrating on other things to do for now.
