First post and a foreshadowing of things to come

Well I know everyone who has been here for awhile really do not want to hear about people doing a first post. I just got into the "Live Journal" scene and hope to make some friends, read my interests. Just interested in meeting new people. I have some "issues" going on with my life right now so maybe it will be a good read for others, the best news is that of someone else's misery. If good news really sold, or was news worthy, then your local news would show stories of people doing wonderful things, instead they usually show the bad things of people's lives. A death here, gunshot there, someone hurt or killed, and how it affects there family.

I also have a 6 year old son. Raising him in a "broken" home is kind of hard, but I love him with all my heart. I am also currently looking for a job. Being an out of work computer programmer makes it hard to find a job. Every company is now looking to offshore or they find someone who just graduated from college and pay them peanuts, sort of like off shoring, eh??? Damn just watching Batman & Robin here on the tube, I really felt that Val Kilmer did a good job playing the Bat. This one with George Clooney and Alicia Silverstone leave a lot to be desired.

I hope this is good enough to be called a first post. I am anxious to make friends and see what I can contribute to the community, but now I can breathe a sigh of relief that my first post is done!
