Alpha release of Logzer - feeling GOOD!
After about two weeks of coding I finally got to release Logzer a couple of days ago. Too bad the statistics on Source Forge is all fouled up don't even know if anyone is interested. A small background Logzer is a open source windows based multi-threaded log analyzing application. I wrote this because my current web host only updates AWSTATs once a day and sometimes I want to view my stats right now. Currently it only works when you have all the stats logged together in one file but I am working on that right now.
It actually feels good to have delivered on something. Hopefully, I can make it so that it is much more stable and is a tool that others would use. Currently only I use it an two of my friends, but thats because it is so undocumented and I have to show them how to use it (they live within 1-2 miles from me). I can't believe that open source development is so... time consuming. I have a new found admiration for the people who do open source development on major software like the Linux Kernel, Mozilla, and OpenOffice to name a few.
