BIg THANK YOU!!!!
Imagestoryteller2001 and I would like to send a BIG HUGE THANK YOU out to the amazing Imageamethest and Imagerobbat2.
You two where a G_d/Goddess send. You were the most amazing witnesses, photographers, knot tiers, cloth drapers, et al!!! we could possibly have wished for.

Your t-shirts were awesome! (what was that URL again?)
You were awesome!

Amethest, you are a wonderful storyteller and I loved listening to the story of your relationship (with the appropriate inputs from robbat2, of course) and from one Storyteller to another, believe me that's a compliment. :) You told it so well, I was able to retell most of it to coginthenose later. And we're both looking forward to the the pictures from your wedding too.

really, we're both looking forward to getting to know the two of you.

one other note from ST, my journal is very intense, and I don't really use that one anymore, but if you want access, comment to something public and I'll add you.

ok, bounce bounce bounce from both of us. we're legally married in Canada and any other country advanced enough to get that marriage is about love not body parts, and youall helped make it happen and helped make it wonderful. And we'll always be greatful for that.

Reposted from Imageoneagain :Vote YES to boys kissing boys (will just take a moment...)
Summary: As the World Turns has a gay male story line if you support it call 1-800-331-3773 then 1=english 2=spanish then 2, then 1

Details:

In response to heat they're getting from the American Family Association, P&G is conducting a phone poll to see if people are for or against the Luke/Noah storyline on As The World Turns. Even if you don't watch the show, please consider taking a quick moment to support boy kissing and thwart homophobic bigotry. The poll is completely automated. You don't have to talk to anyone. And it really does take all of a second to register your opinion.

Just call 1-800-331-3774 and press #1 to continue in English (or #2 for Spanish), then 2 to get to the ATWT poll, then press 1 to continue the storyline.

I need more icons
from Imagecatmcroy

I am...

I am the guy who came out to the entire school in his senior speech and got a standing ovation for his courage.

I am the girl who kisses her girlfriend on the sidewalk and laughs at those who glare.

We are the couple who planned and studied and got a damn good lawyer and BEAT the state that wanted to take our child away.

We are the ones who took martial arts classes and carry pepper spray and are just too dangerous to gay bash.

I am the transgender person who uses the bathroom that suits me, and demands that any complaining staff explain their complaint to my face in front of the entire restaurant--and shares with my other trans friends which restaurants don't raise a stink.

I am the mother who told her lesbian daughter to invite her girlfriend over for dinner.

I am the father who punished his son for calling you a fag.

I am the preacher who told my congregation that love, not hate, is the definition of a true follower of God.

I am the girl who did not learn the meaning of "homosexual" until high school but never thought to question why two men might be kissing.

I am the woman who argues (quite loudly and vehemently) with the bigots who insist that you do not have the right to marry or raise children.

We are the high school class who agrees, unanimously, along with our teacher, that love should be all that matters.

If you agree, repost this. Do it. You don't have to be afraid. You can handle it. You're stronger than you think.

I am making a difference. Hate will not win.

I saw this in a Imagejrosestar journal and thought it belong here.

Basically if say that the lj abuse team can help someone get help if they are post a note in there journal about trying to kill themselves.

The information is:here.

Having been in this situation before it is good information to have. Though that said atleast one of the times it happened I doubt they would have been quick enough to help but I was able to find the phone number for someone who knew her address (I had it but could not get to it very quickly).

CA same gender legal battle needs your story
VERY EXCITING LEGAL DEVELOPMENT

We have secured legal assistance to file an Amicus Brief (a "friend of the court letter") on behalf of Marriage Equality California in the lawsuits pending before the CA Supreme Court.

We NEED MECA's same-sex married couples and couples and individuals who want to be legally married to write 1-2 paragraphs about who they are, why being legally married is important to them and how they are negatively affected by not being able to marry. These statements will be used in the brief to show the court the real people/couples/families behind the issue.

This is your chance to be a part of the historic legal battle for equality for LGBT citizens in CA, please take the 15 minutes it will take to send in your story.

Even if you have previously sent in some form of a story to a list or email previously, please re-send your story to mmckay@marriageequalityca.org to be included in the stack of stories for use in the Marriage Equality California brief.

Don't forget your name/s, address and phone # at the top of your story. Your stories may be used as public information for legal and press purposes - so don't send anything you aren't comfortable with the public knowing.

Thank you for your support and continued participation in the struggle for full marriage equality - we are winning this fight - keep up the good work!!

RALLY TO SAVE THE CONSTITUTION
AND VISIT YOUR LEGISLATOR

Thursday, 8 AM, February 12th
State House
Boston

Today (Wednesday), the Massachusetts legislature debated whether to
write marriage discrimination into the state Constitution._ At the end
of the day, they recessed without passing an amendment, but the
Constitutional Convention will reopen tomorrow (Thursday) at 12 PM and
opponents of lgbt civil rights will push fiercely to shove an amendment
through.

The battle in the State House was fierce today, and we need
reinforcements.

Today, our opponents far outnumbered us._ We must show our strength in
numbers._ We must stand up to say that discrimination and second-class
citizenship have no place in our state's founding legal document._ We
must raise our voices loudly and clearly for full marriage equality.

Over the last few days, we have had a fantastic showing in support of
marriage for same-sex couples._ We can't stop now.

Please forward this email to personal lists._ Come at 8 AM and bring as
many people you can, so we can have a powerful presence despite the
extremely short notice._ We'll be right in front of the State House.

If you cannot join us, please visit www.massequality.org first thing
Thursday morning._ Get your legislators' names and phone numbers and
call right away to urge them to vote against ANY attempt to use the
Constitution to deny same-sex couples full marriage equality._ You must
get EVERYBODY YOU CAN to call their legislators in the morning.

Thank You!

MassEquality
www.massequality.org

An unprecedented coalition of more than 20 local and national
organizations dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme
Judicial Court's marriage decision is upheld and that any anti-gay
amendment to the Massachusetts state constitution is defeated.

I have this project that I am involved with. A web site for a log home kit company. And it has been a bit stressful. Anyway I needed to call someone there this am to get someinformation and while I was taking my shower ST and I where talking about all the things that could go wrong why Chuck Sparkiss might not be there. My favorite evil super villan was the log home builder bomber.

So please post the Super villan for your business/work/job/life.
