Thank you for caring about five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and all the other victims of ICE and the Trump Administration’s reprehensible immigration policies. We’re thrilled that Liam and his father are finally home in Minnesota. But many other children abducted by ICE are still imprisoned in Dilley, Texas, and thousands more immigrants have been kidnapped and locked up in concentration camps across the country. Please consider donating to one of the funds and/or joining one of the groups listed below to make a difference today. (And yes, we will be updating this list with more links over time.)

If you’re an artist…

#Comics4Liam is a call for drawings for Liam Conejo Ramos, the five year old boy who was kidnapped in MInnesota by ICE while wearing a Spider-Man backpack and a rabbit ear hat. He and his father have just been released from a concentration camp in Dilly, Texas, which an immigration attorney has described as “‘a horrible, horrible place,’ alleging that drinking water is ‘putrid’ and often undrinkable, and that meals have contained ‘bugs,’ dirt, and debris.”
We’re asking artists to draw pictures for Liam that you think might make this particular boy feel happy and cared for. Maybe drawings of things he might love; maybe pictures of Liam himself as you think he might like to be seen.
Please post your art with the hashtag #Comics4Liam and a link to comics4liam.com, which lists fundraisers for Liam and others victimized by ICE and links to organizations that support immigrants. And please feel free to add Trung Le Nguyen’s “Comics 4 Liam” guideline images above to your own posts to help encourage other artists to join in!
A few other guidelines:
- Please avoid images of Liam in danger or sad.
- Please avoid images that include violence or would otherwise be inappropriate for a five year old.
- Please, NO “A.i.” USE AT ALL.
- Please DO NOT POST YOUR IMAGES ON X (Twitter).
Thank you!
