This is my soft heartwarming let them love each other ship— I adore how much fun these two have together, how comfortable they are and how deeply Eijiro admires Mina. I’d love something when they’re in school or when they are in the future so long as their relationship is still built on that friendly respect they have for each other. I would love to see them having neon, leopard-print fun together. Maybe Eijiro is trying to be manly and confess his feelings! Maybe they’re enjoying some time on the swings in the park, or going to purikura on a first date? My OTP for this wild ride, because I am such a sucker for the angry bully becomes fierce/loyal protector and enemy has joined your party tropes. Whether you stick with the early timeline first encounters or play around with large age gaps in the 10YL arc or boss Tsuna relying on Xanxus to do the job of caring for the family, I’d love to see Tsuna push and believe in Xanxus. Whether he can actually handle that is totally up to you. Tsuna’s strength in the face of Xanxus’ intimidation is also a great thing to play up. I love the way their power dynamic has so many layers, and exploring that would be a real treat. This is a pairing I am okay with having one-sided or unhappy endings for, including serious bodily harm and traumatic violations of trust.
If you’d like to go the AU route, I’d be interested in Xanxus as Tsuna’s bodyguard from a young age, or Xanxus and Tsuna raised as siblings or cousins. I love trans interpretations of characters, too! If you’d like to write A/B/O for this, I’d prefer a setting in which Alphas are looked down on as feral or animalistic or that play with Xanxus’ already intense feelings of being subhuman or compelled to care for Tsuna.

I will always love these two, their similarities when it comes to off-putting first impressions and being desperately serious about what they do, even when they aren’t quite sure what they want. Snake and cat imagery is super-welcome for them-- I can’t get enough of Kaoru wanting to snuggle but not wanting to deal with the claws, wanting to seem tough and sly and actually being a big softy, while Ryouma is always smugly cat-faced and content with himself until he NEEDS THAT THING THAT INTERESTING, CHALLENGING THING GETTING HIS ATTENTION or the warm lap to curl up on so he can feel at ease again. My favorite thing about their dynamic together is that they end up playing around together and being in each other’s company without thinking so much about putting up their tough guy exteriors or needing to. So, for prompts I’d love to see more little moments between them, alone by coincidence or having made plans— out getting new supplies or running into each other looking for that darn fluffy kitty in the bushes. Working out and getting worked up together is one of my favorite things for them. Trying to make time for relaxing at the onsen or in sauna as maintenance for more than just their bodies would be great. Let them take advantage of the huge and lovely Echizen estate as setting and you’ll make my day. I’ll take them established or freshly together, confessing their feelings or failing to do that, almost-but-not-quite-together pre-slash, having awkward encounters that aren’t dating or feelings, or whatever!! I’m delighted to receive work of any rating, whether you decide to keep them school aged or age them up for the future, I just need more about these two!
