Memory - Audio - Video Problem

Question/Problem:
A couple weeks ago, my audio and video stopped working. Itune's wont work, I can hit play but then it just stalls and doesn't progress. And videos just freeze over and over and no sound is coming from anything. I got a memory error message one time and showed the pic of it below. Everything is going slower. Please help! Thank you!
Operating System, Version and Service Pack:
Windows Vista Home Premium - Service Pack 2 , 2007 HP Notebook, 64 bit operating system
Web Browser and Version: (Examples: Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 3.0.1, Safari 3.1.2).
Firefox version, 3.5.7
Any steps you've taken to troubleshoot?
I can't do a system recovery because I lost my cds and have already used the one on the computer. Which is really stupid they only let you do it once!
Edit - I tried reinstalling the sound cards but I don't even see where the sound cards are. I looked under device manager but I don't see any soundcard like realtek or anything.
